The offensive line is terrible

I have seen it all.

The OL is terrible. Charlton is a bust. Add your favorite target to divert the attention from the elephant in the room.

The real problem with this team is coaching.

It is not a talent issue. Few teams are loaded from top to bottom in today's league.

This is not a team dripping with talent, but there is enough to win with competent coaching.

With what they've invested in this line, they should be dominating teams. They aren't. If you don't think the offensive line is a problem, you either haven't been watching, or you're ignorant.

Don't quit your day job. Analysis might not be for you.
Maybe you shouldn’t quit your day job. Pretty easy to come up with a one liner, without any real thought. Let me know where I was inaccurate .

I never would have thought the OL would be performing so badly at this point.

The powers that be had better figure out a way to get 'em playing better soon.

Continuing as they have would certainly endanger the success of our season.

If they're unable to get their act together it might well not be resolved 'til 2018.

when you score 30 points the loss is the D's fault. Bottom line.
It's a team loss. The O also didn't do the D any favors by maintaining ball control in the second half. Not to mention essentially 10 points were gifted to the Rams.

Ding, Ding, Ding. We have a winner.

No team is loaded from top to bottom, but every good team picks something that they will be great at and then depends on that to be great in order to win. Our great is the OL and running game, and it's stuck so far.

And I still totally agree with your last last, but I've given up on competent coaching.

With the resources that we've invested into this line, they've been extremely disappointing. Pass blocking is really suspect. What's the deal?

I knew many on here would miss Free. Collins is still learning and improving. I have faith he will be a good RT. Guard has been the problem. Green hurt again as usual. I really liked Leary. He was a very good guard. Opening holes in Denver now.

its not terrible
the left guard and right tackle are hurting the other 3
Witten is having a terrible season worst blocking tightend this year
start the season playing very strong defense especially hard for La el with great rushers
we cant run well.
we played great corners who can matchup with Dez 1 on 1 cover everything underneath double Beasley on third down
give Witten a catch short of first then tackle him
all these things need to be fixed
I love Witten but he is having a terrible year. if only Rico could play, maybe that would help
these things can be fixed but
not quick

Its so much fun to sit back and remember how great Romo was, and to reminisce about all the playoff wins and Super Bowls he led us to.....oh wait....

Romo carried a bunch of 5-11 / 6-10 teams to 8+ wins.

It looks like we're going to find out if Dak can do the same, unfortunately

Exactly......all the folks saying “thanks Romo for all those 8 win seasons” fail to comprehend that those were 3 or 4 win teams without Romo working his magic.

Now it’s Dak’s turn. Let’s see how many games he can win with a defense that can’t stop a nosebleed and an oline that can’t block a kitten from a bowl of milk.

So far it’s not looking good.

Funny how it’s now the defense fault for a loss if the offense puts up 30+ yet when Romo put up 30+ points and lost he was a choker.

Case in point, he put up 48 in a loss to Denver and was crucified for it by the fans.

To call it terrible is far fetched. It's not elite but it's also not bad like some of the offensive lines from 2008-2013. They were awful.

This line is average to above average right now and is more than adequate enough to get it done. You're never going to be all pro across the board. Our offensive line has played well enough to win games. Our defense has given up a lot of points and our offense has not taken advantage of opportunities to score or, at times, even move the ball.

To me that Denver game was Tony Romo's entire career in one game.

Outplayed one of the Greatest QBs of all time.

Threw 5 TD passes and led the team to 48 points.

Yet the haters go on about the one pick he threw. Ignoring the fact that the defense COULD NOT EVEN FORCE ONE PUNT. Which was WHY he felt he had to keep pressing and thus the pick.

It's coaching. Everyone has a full year on tape of what Dallas wants to do with Dak back there. They keep running the same plays out of the same formations and hoping it will work like last year. Running lanes are stuffed in 1st down and they blanket 11& 82 when it's 3rd and long. They need to break their patterns to open it back up but they won't.
