OK, Romo needs to protect the ball. The receivers need to run the correct routes. But but but but....the offensive line did not pass block today at all. Columbo signed his contract, then played awful today. He was beaten much. I usually like Marc, but he disappointed me along with the rest of them.

The problem is that the coaching staff never makes adjustments to protect Romo. But it also doesn't help we have a bunch of overrated players on offense.. MB3= Overrated. Romo= Overrated the whole Offensive line = Overrated.

They were horrible and flat out atrocious. They looked so lost out there. Football starts in the trenches and that's where we have been beat when it counts.

Romo has his struggles late in the year, but that goes hand-in-hand with our O-line playing terrible as well. They deserve a lot of the blame in this one.

The OL will be on the tombstone of this season. THE major disappointment.
Flo and Colombo looked slow footed all of December. Davis was not as good as last season, IMO.

And Proctor......

Agreed, I think Sparano leaving was the thing that hurt the Cowboys the most this season. He left and one of the best lines in football last year turned into one of the worst.

No one played well. O-line didn't play well, but that not only falls on the o-line, but Romo and the coaching staff. Get them into position, know where pressure will come from.

i know it looks like we are making the o-line the scapegoat but for this season they are completely responsible for our failure.we need quality backups at guard and tackle who can challenge our starters.

I wrote about this last week and I really see the OL as the biggest issue on the team. The group that was to be all pro week in and week out play like they are lost mentally and overmatched physically.

Flo must GO!

Of course the offensive line looks bad when the qb holds onto the all forever because he cant make an accurate throw if the receiver isnt wide open. Just because the offensive line did not give romo 6 or 7 seconds to throw the ball like they have in the past doesnt mean they played badly.

What the hedck happened to Houck ? I was so excited when he was hired.

sparano never had an injury on the OL last year.

don't you remember the classic problems they had with stunts from the eagles

or the playoff game against the giants where they failed to block?

lol they have been crap for weeks

6 or 7 seconds, he didnt get 2 or 3

Flo needs to be replaced.

We need a new starting LG.

Flo has been playing hurt all season. He just needs an offseason to get healthy. The injury to Kosier and Holland has caused major problems because we now must help Proctor. If any blame should be given, it should be to our personnel department for drafting terrible.

Flo will be injured again next year. Same old story.

Columbo's a jag who gets props because he's one of the few players who fights for his teammates. One on one, he can't block talented rushers. And Jones just gave him $11M. :laugh2:

Not just this year, they sucked in the playoff game against the Giants last year. Thats when they were exposed IMO and things won't get better unless some changes are made there. We should start with the OC and line coach.

If he was holding the ball too long, he must've had time, right? IMO, he didn't have enough time. There were guys in his face not long after the ball was snapped. He makes too many mistakes, but no QB can shine without protection of some kind.

I think your right on,but lots of folks here don't want to see that fact. Just like none of the other personnel losses in the year made any difference. Matt McBriar comes to mind. We lost a tremendous field position weapon when he went down. Kyle Kosier is another. There are other injuries that affected the outcome of this season, but people don't want to hear about it.
