Seems like we need to add a midlevel free agent and address this as well during the first three rounds of the draft. Does Peterman figure into any of this? Who knows

I kinda think he does.

In a recent press conference -- BP was talking about depth on the line - he said he "thought he had a player" backing up if LA went down. It sounded like he was saying he could plug in Peterman without a drop off.

I've been yelling to move Tucker to OG ever since we drafted him. That's what he played in college at Southern Miss. He demolished people at OG. The only reason that I know of for us moving him to OT is that we had guards at the time (or so we thought) and we desperately needed a T.
People are right, LA is missing blocks in the run game and esp in space. No one is beating him to the QB in the passing game but he looks top heavy and confused often in the running game when he can't just knock over the sap in front of him. I think Tucker would be great at T.
We DEFINITELY need a C next year. I think he's been getting us killed all season long. Was a difference maker in the Raiders game. Al kept getting blown up in the middle or flat out whiffing. Bentley is the dude if we can get him. With Colombo and Pettiti on the RT, Rivera and LA at G, Bentley in the middle, Flo at LT, and Tucker, Peterman, and a draft pick as backups....I think we'd do okay.
I think drafting a T and moving Tucker inside to G is the smartest thing to do. Depends on what BP thinks Peterman can do. LA is just about done IMO.

Just when I was hoping and thinking that Peterman might see a few snaps after being active against the Giants, he's inactive again last week. So I don't know. I certainly think he can be a player, but maybe there's something behind the scenes we don't know about... Or maybe Parcells just hasn't felt the need to keep a backup guard active.

Either way, I wish someone at a PC would ask about him.
