If you had to rank our starting 22 guys. In terms of performance this year.

Where would Roy be? Dead ****ing last.

The most frustrating thing is that we do see glimmers of big potential there. It's not like he's been a total dog. That said, his personality is a little too nonchalant for me. He rarely seems to get angry at himself, and I seldom see him "coordinating" things with Tony on the sideline.

You can hide in Detroit, you can't hide in Dallas. Roy has been exposed. Ever since his first year in Texas we keep hearing about his potential. Dude has the physical skill set to be a monster - but his problem is mental. He's a *******. Irvin said that he didn't listen when he was trying to help him in camp this year, and he obviously hasn't put in the film work and studied the playbook because he constantly looks lost.

Some guys on here had the nerve to say he was going to the pro bowl. He's the 3rd best WR on our team, if Jimmy coached this club - Crayton would be starting next week.

BTW...did Austin have a horrible game? I mean he dropped a pass that hit him right in the hands as well and set us up with I believe 3rd and long after his drop.

Now I know some one is going to come in here and say "But it was tipped at the line. Tipped." and to that I'll laugh in your face.

Yes it was tipped and had it put the ball behind Austin, or on the ground, or whatever then fine. This 'tip' didn't even change the direction of the ball, just the way the ball looked, and it hit Austin right in the hands. The problem for Austin there was that he turned his head, to start up field, before he'd secured the catch.

But I guess he gets a pass on that, right, cause of all the great stuff he was doing all the weeks before that.

Meanwhile Roy drops a pass and he had a horrible game and should be shot. The over reactions toward some players on this team is just flat out insane at times.

The border line felattious defense of certain players on this team is insane at times.

Miles Austin drops a tipped pass and you're giving him ****. Your boy Roy has been a Cowboy for 19 games now, and he's only shown up for 1 of them.

The most consistent effort guys should be the starters. That means, promote Austin to the #1, Crayton to #2, and demote Williams to #3.

Williams is clearly far more talented than Crayton, but he has no inner drive. He tries to just get by with his size, strength and natural talent.

Until he shows he is out to make a play on every play, demote him to #3.

That HUGE 3rd down drop and fumble were enough for me to bench him for that game.

All contracts should be performance based....RW should have to perform to get his big paycheck.

I am tired of watching him drop balls -- either before or after the catch.

No one remembers the Miles drop. Or two for that matter. NO one remembers the overthrow to Martellus Bennett. All everyone remembers is Roy's two F ups. So you have to forgive them if they don't remembers Miles' drops.

Not my boy and I'd like to see a lot more out of him on a more consistent basis for sure. I just don't think the guy was 'horrible' like some are dramatically over-stating.

And, again, that tip for Austin is nothing more than BS excuse. The ball hit him right in his friggen hands. RIGHT IN HIS HANDS. That's a drop. Period. No other way I look at that. If the ball hits you in the hands and you don't catch it you dropped it. Period.

I'm actually more of an Austin fan than a Roy fan simply because I was dead wrong about Austin this summer and I like his attitude. But that is neither here nor there.

Give me a break. If he makes that catch and doesn't fumble he's the GOAT. HE didn't and now he's just a goat. And its funny. Everyone wanted to demote Crayton 3 weeks ago because of his poor play. Now because he's thriving in the slot were he belongs you want to promote him. Goodness. I've never seen such a knee jerk reaction to such a meaningless game in my life. I expected this if we lost to the Eagles or if we lost ground to the Eagles or Giants. We lose ground to the 3-6 Deadskins and the knee jerk reactions are overwhelming.

Kind of odd that you make that statement yet you miss the freaking point! :bang2:

Actually, MBIII first 4 carries went for 27 yards. The problem was that those 4 carries WERE ALL IN THE 1ST QUARTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! His final, yes FINAL, carry was the first play of the 2nd half in a 3-0 ball game. So, again, Garrett did what he did last year against the Commanders - ha gave up on the running game. Period and no ways around it.

Excellent post! Most OC's try to establish the run which helps freeze the defense when you go to the play action. We run 4 successful run plays and then abandon it completely. They know we are coming with the pass everytime, pin their ears back and come after Romo in waves.

Yup. You don't get to start just because you look better in a jersey.

I think he can't win the game by himself. I notice not one person is suggesting the four catches for twenty yards by Austin was sub-par.

The team lost today. That was a big play. But so were a half a dozen others that we didn't make.

But isn't it curious that Williams is lambasted and blamed for this loss with one turn-over and yet I seem to recall this entire board defended Romo's three interception day against the Giants as a team loss.

The hypocrisy of the fan of all teams is a thing to behold.

Stop spewing logic TD3. Some people are just gonna hate him regardless even if he has 150 against the 'Skins on Sunday.

Romo has been targeting Williams ever since Williams commented about getting on page Romo.

No coincidence Austin has been getting less throws at him.
To me, he makes bad plays at the worst time. (3rd down drops, fumbles)
Make a play when it counts like a true number 1.

According to ESPN's box scores for the last 2 games, Williams has been thrown to 15 times with 10 catches; Austin has been thrown to 13 times with 5 catches; Witten has been thrown to 16 times with catches; and Crayton has been thrown to 10 times with 6 catches.

Yeah, Romo has completely stopped looking his way:rolleyes: He threw to him a team-high 9 times last game.
