Why not trade for Mike Glennon (Tampa)?

He had a nice rookie year (2013) and may not be in the Bucs long term plans.

Weeden offers nothing and Glennon could be spot starter./successor.

Age: 25

Size: 6'6, 225

Career Stats: 29 TD, 15 INT, 83.7 Passer Rating

Thoughts?

McCoy for me if he's available from a vet standpoint

Of the former Browns I think Hoyer would be the better option. He probably won't be back in Cleveland. He has shown more flashes than either Weeden or McCoy. Colt McCoy is just very limited in my opinion. I think they can find better options than Weeden or McCoy or Hoyer for that matter.

I think Glennon would be a great pick up. Low risk possible high reward, sit behind Romo for a couple years and could come in and start when needed. This system could be a good fit for him.

Yeah, I really, really have to have the backup QB of the worst team in the league, who also has less mobility than Bledsoe. How about we let Philly trade for him and sit back and enjoy.

My concern with McCoy is these continuing neck stingers/injuries... awful memories....

i like glennon as well.

we finally have an o-line that a pocket passer like glennon could have time to stand back and go through his progressions.

he's got an arm from hell too.

One thing for sure is we need a an upgrade at backup QB. It was stupid of Jerry to go into a season with Romo's health questions with such poor backups. Why didn't we sign Colt McCoy??

That would still be a poor backup.

We could try Cutler and let him compete against Vaughan.

Eh, never mind.

Where did the you tube trick throwing guy we had on the practice squad end up ? Jerry had high hopes for him. Can we get him back, or was he not any good. What was his name?
