Our WR group is not the problem.YES (did you hear me), yes we need to be better on the offensive line. Every team can't be Philly or Detroit's o-line, but it's being made to seem as if every pass Dak throws, there's pressure in his face. There are times where Dak actually has time to throw, and nobody is open, lack of separation is the most troublesome aspect for our WR's.
This on and on about the O-line, I get it, but we have to look at our play makers, and their lack of getting open when Dak needs them to be open. In the last few seasons we've drafted Guyton, and Smith in the 1st rounds of the draft. It's time to get some play makers, and it's on our coaches/scouting department to get the guys that can make Dak's job just a little easier. Please give your thoughts!
(You're RIGHT), last time I checked a CB set records for INT's and INT return touchdowns, a WR got a big pay day because he makes huge plays. This is sexy money for Jerry, so to Jerry, let's invest in that, not something that could REALLY make entire units better!!!Our WR group is not the problem.
We can't run or stop the run.
So let's draft a WR and a CB.
Well, if the plan is to have a way better than Solari oline with new emphasis on run game with play action, then that can mask a lot of deficiencies needed at other skill positions. Even WR and yes, "EVEN QB."
So it all depends on whether this new HC, OC and OL coach are actually gonna carry out this type of offseason offensive plan that all the team roster moves have suggested thus far.
Guess we'll find out.

Yeah, but then look at the big pic. Until we fix the DT position, no WR will matter that much. Every year we ignore the position, we're putting off another year to try to get into contention.I waffle a bit on this one… with regard to my own thoughts vs what the clowns will actually do. I want to build the lines, and not be concerned with trying to win THIS year, which even if they had the top three picks in this draft, they cannot do.
So I probably wouldn’t take a WR early, but I would bet the house that the kings of misevaluation aren’t thinking the way I am.
The flip side is if they don’t get a WR early, the one they take later probably doesn’t get on the field much this year, and a year from now WR is still a “need.”
As dumb as it may sound, Id rather see if Tolbert can become the best in the league or whatever he claimed he was, or if Mingo can get off bust highway.
Yeah the WR room isn’t great, but that ain’t the big problem as long as DT/LB is going to look like it currently does. They will continue to get gashed up the gut, and continue to draft WR, corners and backup tight ends. That’s the Jerry and Stephen “secret sauce.”
I know they watch the games. I can’t figure out how they either don’t see that and/or refuse to do anything about it. Giving Osa a big contract didn’t fix it. We already know him and Mazi aren’t enough but I guess the FO figures they did their part. It’s a sad joke.
That’s the gist of the post my good friend. Please read again!Yeah, but then look at the big pic. Until we fix the DT position, no WR will matter that much. Every year we ignore the position, we're putting off another year to try to get into contention.
love everything you said!!We need to be able to run the ball which means we need to draft a running back fortunately the draft is deep at running back.
We invested in the offensive line last year and the Young bucks should progress and it should be a very serviceable unit if it's properly coached.
As usual we need to stop the run and we cannot so we need to draft a defensive tackle and not a bust. A plug and play player. No projects no head cases no problem children.
One of these wide receivers that we've invested in needs to step up needs to be coached up or something it's not a strong wide receiver class in this draft I think it's a bad idea to draft one out of this group .
If we can run the ball it should allow the coaching staff if it's what it's cracked up to be to run a scheme that gets some people open if we don't fix the running game we can't do anything.
This really isn't that difficult with the first three picks in the draft we need running back defensive tackle possibly an offensive lineman or another running back.
The key is they all need to be able to play now we've had enough projects for six lifetimes
My main concern was the run game.I hear you guys, it's just this notion that he's under pressure EVERY single play. I don't think any QB is under pressure EVERY single play. Are there bad moments, of course! Once again guys also need to beat their coverage, and make a play!
Ouch!! You are correct!! I should've been expounding!!!!That’s the gist of the post my good friend. Please read again!![]()
