Guys, we are going to regret not promoting Sean Payton to HC for years to come.

What he did with bargain basement 'groceries' has been truly amazing.

He would have used our players to their fullest potential, something we are not seeing with our current regime.

Drew Brees, Deuce McAllister and Reggie Bush aren't "bargain basement groceries."

He lucked out with Miami passing on Brees. If Miami had take Brees, Payton would have been stuck with Culpepper or some other castoff and would be 6-10 this season and would be looking towards the draft right now.

Let's address this in 2-3 more years and see if this is still the case. We'll see what happens with him. Also, let him play his first playoff game and discuss then as well.

Take a look what happened to Mora JR. He was in the NFC Championship two years ago and now is on the street.

10-6 with an easy schedule, sound familiar? He won't do it again.

easy shedule? it's easy to call any game "easy" in hindsight looking at the season, but the teams that the saints beat, or should i say DOMINATED, were pretty damn good teams at the time. Not the Saints fault that they send teams on a suicide spiral down after embarassing them.

easy?? They beat most the teams in the playoffs. Dallas, Philly, Giants. THey're loses are to AFC teams, 2 losses to Carolina (the last loss was againts the saints 3rd string). Not sure what you're talking about.

Sean Payton will still have a chance to return to Dallas after Parcells leaves... Remember Jerry will spend for a great head coach!
