A pseudo / indirect control.

That is total collapse.

None of these 8-8 or 7-9 leading to comments, "getting better" or "it's a process" or "--- fill in bs here---"

The closest we got to Jerry "truly, really, deeply" getting it wad THREE consecutive 5-11 seasons.

We need to get back there soon.

Blow it up.

See the pattern.

Buy the team after they went 3-13. Then going 1-15 in his first year.
Get Parcells after going 5-11 three times. Parcells was just a little too late, too old.

We need Wilcox to develop, Carter to develop or get a Will, get the DL back, Ware to return to health or retire and us find a replacement, draft fast big DBs and continue to tweak the offense. We need more health overall somehow. Kiffin needs to get his planned D into place. A couple more OL would help even if they are already here.

I'd like another big fast WR, a scat back who can stay reasonably healthy, a backup QB to stash on the PS and develop, and another return man.

The team doesn't and shouldn't be blown up. And I'm not ducking.

OK, you go ahead and root for losses.

I can control the tv remote.

And watch something else or turn off the game if it gets lame..

Did it two weeks ago. Can damn sure do it again. .Sometimes this team does warrant my attention. They make sick at times with the way they are coached and played. This situation can't go on.. I would never root for losses. Even today , folks at work still can't believe I am flowing Cowboys gear.. Do it every Friday at work during the season.

But, to say that I would be pissed of and bummed if Dallas lost the last 2 games? Meh,, I would be lying.. I really don't care at this point. I am numb once again come December because of this underachieving , poorly coached (AND HAS BEEN) team.

Something has to change. Not sure it will make a difference, because EGO Skeletor is still going to be GM, but, something has too.. Just possibly so we has fans can feel like there is light at the end of this long, long tunnel.

This may sound crazy, but I wouldn't mind seeing the team move Church to the WILL.

That's what the Panthers did with Thomas Davis, a college safety. Worked out very nicely for them.

I would gladly take on a losing streak right now if it truly meant an organizational shift was on the horizon. Unfortunately, Jerry Jones doesn't work like that.

If this season ends with a thud, we get a coaching change. And I hate to say it, but Garrett is merely a symptom. I mean, the guy has his problems; he is a horrific game manager and substandard strategist. He has gone from a head coach with actual head coach control to little more than press conference answer man. Regardless if those demotions were warranted or not, restructuring the staff against the head coach's wishes, as Jerry did last winter, was band-aiding a gunshot wound.

Either fire the man or get out of the way and actually address areas of the organization in dire need of correction. I dunno, how about the roster?

Jason may have qualities as a head coach that will never be realized in Dallas. And yes, he is as frustrating to me at times as anything else with the Cowboys, but the fix will not be in his replacement. His dismissal serves only to pacify a restless fan base and nothing more.

All that to say, advocating losses at this point does nothing except give the Joneses a new marketing strategy for the 2014 season. When all else fails, sell the fans a new head coach. Again and again and again. That's precisely how Jerry Jones works.
