The only Dez move I could support is trading for Earl Thomas

If Dallas traded Dez Bryant straight up for Earl Thomas, I could get behind the move, but only if we sign a linebacker like Navorro Bowman in free agency.

Then, we could use our first-round pick on Ridley or name your receiver and work him into the lineup with Hurns and Beasley, with Williams possibly getting more reps early if it takes the first-rounder time to get up to speed.

How do those moves have any effect on each others?

Why would you only tradd Dez for Thomas if we got Bowman?
Also Ridley might not be there at 19, and just drafting a WR at 19 for the sake of drafting one isnt a good move.

Of course, all of this is moot considering the seahawks would never make that trade.

There shouldnt be any stipulations, you should trade Dez for ET3 no matter what

Dez has no trade value. His contract is very overpriced. That's probably the main reason for us to unload him.

If a blue chip DT is there, I take him.

When Sammy Watkins is getting 16 per and Paul Richardson is costing 12 mil this year how is dez overpriced?

Some guy named Albert Wilson is making 24 mil over three years. Dez is owed 25 over the next two with zero guaranteed dollars.

Zero guaranteed...? You're mistaken.

Other players getting overpaid, doesnt mean that Dez isnt getting overpaid. We could do the same excercise with players like OBJ, AJ Green, Michael Thomas, Thielen who are getting paid less than Dez.

i don't even think earl would like that. i think part of the allure for him to play for the boys is to play with his friend dez bryant.

Could rejuvenate Dez's entire career (think Anquan Boldin) if we were to do whatever it takes to draft Calvin Ridley. If you have Ridley out there drawing the top guy and doubles, and Dez doing things underneath instead of being the #1 and home run threat he clearly isn't anymore, and you've got Hurns and the other match up problem guys we have; plus Zeke and Dak working a read option... wow. Good luck. If they decide Ridley is a great pro receiver then no cost is too great. Look at Julio Jones, has kept Matt Ryan at an MVP level. I think Ridley can be that guy. Please... PLEASE go and get him.

Yes. The guaranteed money has been paid.

I think you are wrong

Funny, the team doesn't seem to think Dez is a stud and is going to play another 10 years.

If they did, his contract is actually a bargain considering what FA receivers are making now days. But that is not what we are seeing from this front office, is it?

They didn't offer Sammy Watkins $15 million to be Dez's teammate, so there is a big clue for you right there.

Ok I understand that you do not understand some things I'm gonna make it simple. Are you ready? Sammy was not going to be signed to replace Dez simple enough?
