The only question that matters...

When it comes to keeping Wade or firing Wade there is only one question that matters. This team is beyond the point in its development where simply going to the playoffs is acceptable anymore. Eventually we have to get more out of the talent on the roster. So the only question to ask is:

Can this team win a Super Bowl with Wade as head coach?

If your answer is yes, you keep him. If not, then we're jusy delaying the inevitable and taking away the opportunity we have while our players are still young.

we need to move on. We had so many performances this year that exceeded expectations - Austin, Jenkins, Spencer - and very good seasons from most of our core players ... yet we still couldn't get it done.

We need a change at the top. I expect Jerry will put out a few feelers to Cowher et al. and then hire Garrett.
