Is to out score them. I don't know if there is a D in the league that can stop them...

What D i can pressure Brady every passing down?

What D has the secondary that can cover Moss, Stallworth, Welker, Watson etc.

The only way to beat them is build an O that can outscore them. We are close.

Build a D that can slow them down...again we are close.

Throw in a running game to control the clock a little and I'm with you;)

Cutting down the penalties might help as well.

I agree. We were closer than we appeared. If our offense would have stopped shooting itself in the foot we could have AT LEAST been right there at the end of the game. And at that point, anything can happen.

They re-built that Offense to run with the Colts. Their O can shift from deep threats to dink & dunk at will and that is the hard part to defend...their O will take what ever you leave them. Almost have to gamble on them and take the full rush/short jamb vs the deep ball.

If I had to play them again, I would have Newman follow Moss everywhere. Henry on Stallworth - Reeves on Welker - Hamlin on Watson - and whatever happpens happen.

The D will have to show so many different looks to off set their O.....Umm is that possible?

The only way to beat the Pats....

Their team plane crashes. Even then you could probably truck in their remains and make it a close game.

Locking the officials in the closet would help too.

Just kidding....

Kind of......

If you can't laugh at the refs, who can you laugh at.

Hey, at least the Commanders lost!

We can beat the Patriots, but we have to play better.

Look, when they got Welker, Thomas, Stallworth, and Moss I knew this was the team to beat. They are freaking loaded.

They have a great OL. They had only allowed 3 sacks all year to this point. We got 3. We needed more pressure though and we have the chance to keep learning and get there.

This loss will be a teaching tool. Quite frankly 52 guys on this team need to learn from how hard Marion Barber plays. if the rest of this team played as angry as he did, we'd be so much better off.

We have to play better on 3rd down on both sides of the ball.

The penalties killed us. Blame the refs all you want and they deserve some blame. But stupid penalties were committed by our team time and time again.

We scored on defense. We took a lead on this team. We played them tough for a long time. This on a short week after MNF.

The score doesn't indicate how close this game might have been with some breaks going our way.

The better team won. I tip my hat to the Patriots.

I still say that the skins will be able to hold them under 24

heck, they held the #1 offense( lions ) to 76 net yards passing and then this week's #3 in only 150 net.

Figuring in that NE can't run the ball without Maroney and they seem like the SAME offensive team as the lions and pack......

[presses honesty button]

but can the skins get 20 is the real challenge.....

Skins lose...so the day isn't a total loss.

Cleveland did a great job on them. Their offense CAN be stopped. No doubt about it.

sorry clove, dont kid youself Reeves cant handle the task, if this defense continues to let the corners play 9 yards off the ball we are doomed. I just dont think we are good enough defensivly to hang with them yet. If we dont get pressure we are siitng ducks plain and simple!!

Yeah, my brother cannot give me to much grief Biz as we are still top o the NFC East Heap! But it is a long road still go for the Boys. I do hope the Dallas D comes out next game with blood in their eyes but even more so I hope the D starts finishing more tackles and the O-line stops making so many penalties.

Oh God, you've got to be kidding. The SAME offensive team? Yeah, minus a tremendous OL and HOF QB but hey, who's keeping track............

I think you are right, we just couldnt get off the field on 3rd down.
