Late round RB I really like.

I'm sure his stats would be a lot more impressive if not behind Jeremiyah Love on the depth chart.

I would love to hear all you Fighting Irish fans chime in.

workmanlike back
gives you everything he has
smart player; thinks during play
not a #1 back I think but an excellent #2

can we have both.
they make my saturdays enjoyable.
great combination.
reminds me of those great duo's coach holtz had.

With no 2nd or 3rd round picks, gonna be hard to pull that off.
I don't want no 5th round Jaydon Blue picks.

As someone noted, Brugler has Love as the #1 TB in this draft and Price as the #2. I too was hoping he might be a mid-round guy we could grab but he's probably a Top 65-75 pick. There are some other quality guys that could factor in after Love such as Singleton, etc.

He is a monster and would talked about waaaaaaay more if he played anywhere else. Would probably be RB for a lot of SEC teams.

I would be surprised if he makes it past the 4th.

Would love to pick up a 3rd in a trade down to grab him.

Price is a guy who has a lot of juice with the ball in his hands. He moves much faster than he looks and is always pulling away from defenders. Excellent kickoff returner as well. He is not great in pass protection, and has had an issue with fumbling. He's also not the best inside runner. Good football player, but is Sundance to Jeremiyah Love's Butch for a reason.

Pretty sure every RB2 in college football says the exact same thing.

Boy I could have sworn Detroit opened up a 44 point whipping and could have had 50 . Resign Williams back him up with Israel A & Mafah . Bring Davis back give Williams pre season games off .

Let Blue handle kickoffs at least these last 4 games seen enough of Turpin 30 yard crash & burn . It would be debatable to go into the off season with Blue doing so little .

A few things. One, I am curious what Williams might fetch in the open market. I would not overpay for him. Two, I worry about the decline in Year 2, especially given how we are using him. He's 4th in carries in the league and on pace for around 290 or so carries which would be far and away the most he's had in the NFL. There is enough evidence out there with regards to a decline in a season after excessive usage to tread carefully with Williams.

They need some juice in the backfield. Can that be Blue? I am not sure. Mafah is not it. He's a Williams clone.

Note, this is not an endorsement of taking Love or Price early.

If and when we are mathematically eliminated, if they then don't put Blue and Mafah and every other young player on the field to be evaluated it will confirm we are not a serious organization.

We know we have no juice at the RB position. Our RB's are horrendous as well recieving and YAC, but for some reason when Dak was under duress all night, we more often than not sent the RB out for a pass instead of helping a Tackle.

Why was the RB not lined up with Hutchinson 90% of the time?

You’re absolutely right 290 touches yikes ! Israel A depending on his pass blocking ability is worth a look these last 4 games . When he was with the Jets I thought he might be a nice change of pace back .

Denver steamrolls you. Detroit with a banged up OL mauled Dallas D . Chicago. Rolled . And people are talking Notre Dame running backs ….
