Which OTs will carry a grade high enough to be worthy of #28? I notice Cam Robinson was the Outland trophy award winner as the nations best lineman, but I have seen some mocks with him going after pick 28? Ramzack (sp?).

I like Robinson some. He's a mauler in the run game. Very strong.

However, I question if he will be a good enough pass blocker, even at RT. I haven't spent that much time looking at OT's this year and the one big question I would have is how smart is he. I just don't know one way or another. You have to be smart to play on the Dallas OL and I don't think the team would be that interested if his football IQ isn't high enough.

Again, I have no idea if he has good football intelligence or not.

I have them in this order

1. Ramczyk
2. Bolles
3. Robinson
drop off (4 thru 6 are mid- to late-2nd rd guys, Imo)
4. Dawkins
5. Moton
6. Johnson

oh, and I don't trust the Alabama linemen either on offense or defense...something "funny" there that they perform at VERY high levels in college and then seem to be average at best in the NFL (perhaps they get tested in the NFL? I dunno)

RT tackle scares me. Green has potential but has only started two games and is always hurt. Bell is a guy that started more out of need than ever really deserving it. Carolina fans were very happy to see him go. I know Collins could move out there, but can he play it at this level? Do we weaken LG to strengthen RT? I am afraid that RT could be the Achilles heel of our offense. I know this won't be a popular opinion, but I think you can make an argument that RT is a bigger need than DE. At least at DE we have some decent players there already and a couple of new ones coming in with potential.

As far as the OP. It does not sound like we are very interested in the position in the first two days, but I could see Davenport fall to the 4th and be our pick. Skipper is a guy that Cowboys have shown interest in and Will Holden is my pet cat at the spot that is could be there in day 3 but has early starting potential.

i have to believe we have a plan for RT
do we think we can throw a 4th rd rookie out there starting?
probably not initially, so we must be comfortable that Green is ok or collins, maybe cooper can go.
FA signing?
yes its a little scary.

I like Garcia and Davenport, but I don't know if they'll last until our 3rd

What are the odds that the Cowboys had zero idea that Free might retire. My guess is that they had some idea. I would be shocked if they didn't know unless Free had no idea himself until right before he announced it.

None of them. This is such a bad tackle draft that teams will reach. I prefer not to do that.

I have the position as a concern, but this is not the draft to do it in. Chazzy Boy or bust.
