The passing of Frank Robinson

The guy was a heck of a player who put up terrific numbers in an era when offense was much tougher to come by.

And a decent manager.

This is sad news indeed. Frank Robinson was from Beaumont originally, but moved to California when he was a child. He actually played on the same squad as Bill Russell. Frank Robinson was a great, great player. I am very, very sorry to hear this news.

My sincere condolences go out to the Robinson family.
