Jerry said he spoke with the players and told them that the evaluation process will begin and that the organization is looking for players that want to win. He said it was brief and to the point.
The firing of Phillips was a sign of accountability and that jobs are on the line from here on out. Garrett will HAVE full reign of both sides of the ball...this is his audition. Jerry said that based on what Garrett can do with the team he has a chance to get the HC job permanently. He also said that Garrett has the tools to change the culture around Valley Ranch and that he has seen him do great things in his time here already.
They will try to get Garrett on to do a PC
