The Peerless Price effect

I think that having Peerless Price on the field hurt us today. I think Bledsoe looks for him too much. When Crayton was on the field, his plays kind of unfolded naturally. If he was there Bledsoe took it, no need to force it, not need to "look for him", just play the game. But when even players in practice (per Aikman) say that when Price comes into the huddle Bledsoe automatically goes to him, is it any wonder that Glenn had one of his worst games of the season today?

Maybe. It di look like Bledsoe was looking for the "big" play more in this game then he has past few weeks.

Glenn was double covered all day, that's why he had a bad day. Bledsoe was trying to force it to Glenn, not Price. That last interception Bledsoe threw was intended for Glenn in double coverage. I recall seeing Price wide open on a play or two and Bledsoe never even looked at him.

Seemed to me like we went three WR's a lot less today than the rest of the season.

No. Terry had his worst game because he was the focus of the coverage, and obviously the player who was schemed to be shut down.

Not because Drew looked off him for Price.

Bledsoe should have looked off Terry a whole lot more.

yeah, we were 2 wide at least 75-80% of the time today, definetely not what i was looking for. throw to ball a little more to price if anything, he obviously has the speed which we could tell from this game alone. lets see what he can do.

Actually Price was rarely on the field and Glenn off some in 2 TE sets.

Can't look for anyone when you are sitting on your a** with Pettiti and Rivera on top of you.

Let's see how it goes when they're not playing in the rain.

He really wasn't given many opportunities tonight. Wasn't on the field alot for offense. He runs the end around better than Keyshawn. ;)

Not sure why we run that play since I've never seen it faked, but whatever.

Who knows what he could be doing with more on the field experience instead of having to step in after standing on the sidelines for a couple months.

He had a nice 15 yard returned negated by penalties.

It's his 2nd game he's actually played in, what did you expect?

Probably because we needed an extra blocker to help out

Terrance Copper was actually subbed in quite a bit for Glenn today. Also, Glenn spent most the day under double coverage.

I was disappointed with Price's play today. I noticed two times he shyed away from contact thus leaving yards on the field.

This is true, we were too busy trying to help Tucker and Petitti. It wasnt cause Drew was too busy looking for Price.
