....every big run that Pollard has run, Peters was instilled in the play.

I double checked Vs Chi, Det and LAR. I know its weird, that's why I mentioned serendipity as part of it.

I thought, I let you guys know to get a KICK out of it.

I laughed, when I made the connection.

Hmmm ... I hadn't noticed that. I guess it helps when you have a future Hall-of-Famer who is a load knocking aside a defensive tackle or linebacker. Pollard has shown he just needs a crease. It's easier to create that crease with a sledgehammer than a wooden mallet.

Funny thing is the announcers have mentioned the run blocking of the Martin-Steele tandem, which has been very good. But this goes to show you need solid blocking on both sides of the line to break big plays.

Whatever you call it, getting speed in space is something that every offense strives to do. Hopefully this combination will continue to provide us with game changing plays. I love the excitement that Tony generates when he breaks the line of scrimmage, and a big tip of the cap to the guys up front that makes it happen.

Serendipity has to be one of the strangest words in the English language. It was created in 1754.

it has been said that “knowing is half the battle”

If it's happening every time Peters is in and Peters is opening a hole for Pollard to run through, that's not serendipity. That's an observable, designed pattern/play.
If, however, Peters is in the game and his blocking has nothing to do with Pollard breaking a long run, that's serendipity. ;)

Not actually true...

In Eastern culture, the fat Buddha brings good luck. We now have our own serendipitous fat man that brings good fortune.
