lol at the pressure being on the eagles to win

so the cowboys have no pressure to win? this is a win in and get in game, both teams are feeling a lot of pressure to win. Both teams have everything to lose (no playoffs), both teams are not going to take each other lightly.

I guess both teams are missing key players on both sides of the ball.

I wish we had an awful coach that could re-energize a franchise and fan base and go on a 6-1 in the last 7.

I don't see the point is disrespecting the opponent. Especially when we've been the laughing stock of the NFC East for 17 years. The Giants won two Super Bowls recently and the Eagles made 5 consecutive NFC Championships and we still have the nerve to talk.

I don't see the point in putting them on a pedestal or disregarding our last meeting without demarco Murray in the lineup. There's no disrespect, I call a spade a spade, they are not a good football team.

It's the Eagles, we have nothing but disrespect for them.

Especially when we've been the laughing stock of the NFC East for 17 years.

Really? Even those four years we won the NFC East? (Maybe 5)

The Giants won two Super Bowls recently

And are still behind the Cowboys in Super Bowl wins.

and the Eagles made 5 consecutive NFC Championships

When? Actually it was four, and what good did that do them? How many Lombardis do they have? Zilch, Nada, the big goose egg, that's how many.

and we still have the nerve to talk.

Dude, grow a pair and have some pride in your team.

You heard it right. They are not a very good football team. When it mattered like against minnesota, Casell threw all over them, this was a blowout. They had alot of junk points and yardage in 4th qtr with the game out of reach. They Stink. We have problems but im not talking about that, 10 days ago philly got their arses ripped by minny.

Dallas at home by 3. Orton will throw for 300 and 2 tds to dez and witten, murray will do the rest.

Why did it matter against Minnesota but not against Arizona, Detroit in December? Are you just throwing out those wins cause that seems silly.

For all the crap the Eagles defense gets, they've been the definition of bend but don't break. They've only given up 21 or more points once since Week 4 (@Minnesota). I know you also like to hang your hat on the 17-3 victory back in October but keep in mind you also got three freebies from Matt Barkley and still were only able to put up one offensive touchdown. Nick Foles had just taken over the starting job and really looked lost not to mention concussed as the game went along and it was a poor showing but I think he's redeemed himself since then and will have a shot to do it for good in regards to that game on Sunday Night.

Carry on with whatever it is you're trying to talk yourself into but its odd that it only "matters" when its convenient for a conversational point as you used here but none of the games in which they've won (6 over the last 7) just simply don't hold weight? Alllllllrighty then.

Some Cowboys fans have anointed the Eagles when the truth is they're an average team, no better than the Cowboys. Even with a boatload of injuries, the Cowboys have a chance to win this game. Quite frankly, there's no reason to be surprised whatever the outcome of this game. We could win or lose. But some here want to heap way more praise on the Eagles than they deserve. Yes, our defense is putrid at times and we are missing our QB (careful what you wish for), but anyone who thinks the Cowboys don't have a chance Sunday night hasn't been watching NFL games this year.

This is so true, but you can insert "any team" and it will still be true.
Well most any team, but you know what I mean.

what does a team's health have to do with having pressure on their selves to succeed?

you think just because romo went down, that the cowboys aren't facing the same pressure to win when he was healthy?

you think the coaching staff who are playing for their jobs regardless of what jerry says are feeling less pressure then they were before romo went down? Hell, they're probably facing a lot more pressure now that their franchise QB just went down and they have to create a gameplan with a guy who hasn't started a game in 2 years

The Iggles are the luckiest team this year. The Giants had theirs. Ravens had theirs.

However, the difference is defense. Those teams had good defenses. The Iggles do not.

If we can avoid a first possession fumble (like every team does against them), we'll be ok.

Plus, Detroit had them 14-0, until 8" of snow covered Megatron for them.

They make me sick.

Really?...wonder what the Commanders have done since 1991, their last SB appearance. They are 3- 5 in playoff games since then, in 5 times the made the playoffs...
7 winning seasons, and 3, 8-8 seasons.
Cowboys last SB, 1995, since then made playoffs 7 times, and are 2-7 in those games.
8 winning seasons and 3, 8-8 seasons.

Troll time or what? Nick Foles is over rated. Cowboys will expose him again. Take away MCcoy on the outside and man up Jackson with Carr, Foles is lost. I was wondering how he made it to the NFL after that game. It might still be in his head, I think he stumbles in this game, Orion might steal the show.

Troll? I'm merely asking you a question. If you just want to call me a troll because you want to avoid the question then that's fine. I can't say I blame you because the answer isn't one that fits your points.

You do realize the Eagles have a #2 that has shined this year in Riley Cooper, right? They have gotten incredible play out of both tight ends in Brent Celek and Zach Ertz during the back half of this season (look at the Arizona game). You can take DJax away, it's happened in other games this year and the Eagles have been just fine in games where he didn't have 6+ catches for 100 yards or whatever.

Since it was your first message I'm assuming your a Philly fan and trying to persuade me that the eagles are good.Thats fine but they stink. We match up with them very well. Your tight ends will give us problems but not cooper or Jackson, lol talk about over rated. Problem is you can't stop anybody, Dez and Witt gonna expose you big with Kyle Orton.

Eagles against Minny is who you really are. Eagles against Dallas in Philly is who you are, that's right 11/20 for 80 yds Nick folds who was knocked out in 4th quarter, that's who u are troll. Orion's gonna put 40 on you, and even if you triple your first games production that gives you what 9 points?

I'm not going to persuade you of anything...you can believe whatever you believe and that's it.

The Eagles have not allowed more than 21 points more than once since Week 4. How can you say they can't stop anybody? If that's the case, wouldn't opposing offenses have 30+ points every game? You'd sure think so based on how awful they are according to you.

At any rate....you seem convinced that you guys are going to blow the doors off the Eagles and hey, for your sake....lets hope you're right otherwise you'll look pretty turdy in your prognostications.

Then what was the 48 points the Vikings put on the board...just a thought...
once was enough for me...that's all I need to know it can be done again.

Is that what that foul smell is? I mean at first I was afraid it was me, but phew, glad it's those darn pesky birds.

Brian Baldinger just said that Jason Peters is a better LT than Tyron Smith

I do not agree

I remember not too long ago (Last Sunday am) where the Cowboys were 2.5 point favorites at home. Monday morning after the beatdown on the Bears the Eagles became the favorites. Just like that, and also because the press and vegas got wind of Tony having a MRI schedules for MondaY. well, well well. It comes back with the news that he can't go next Sunday. Eagles now are a TD favorite. Good for them. Dalllas should be undefeated at home if not for our head coach. I will be very happy if we can get this win. Take the division by broom!
To Dstovall...I don't know about your general hygiene but I guess it is pretty bad if your not sure. Hopefully your just funning us with that, I do know the Eagles play in the cesspool of philthadelphia which gets all the garbage dump wind coming from new jersey. Baldinger is usually pretty knowledgable and I haven't seen any tape on Peters this year but I will say that my eyeballs tell me that OUR LEFT TACKLE looks Pro Bowl all the way.
The biggest desire I have this season from here on out is getting a Cowboys win each week. We messed their hair up pretty good in the Dump of Pennsylvania and I bet we play pretty good again. All the lessons learned each game before this may our coaches coach and players play the best football of the season. Amen

One piss poor game....yes. But the Vikings had incredible field position all game because they pooch kicked everything to keep it away from Patterson. That was a questionable move from the start and it killed them.

That Vikings game was piss poor and you won't see me say otherwise. Awful game. But if you guys just want to hang on to that ONE game but ignore the other 7 they've won since then....then I dunno, have at it I suppose.

I agree with the OP not about being an awful team but they aren't some unstoppable juggernaut either that most on here and in the media are making them out to be.

The eagles have not allowed more then 21 since week 4? Well who did you play? GB without Rodgers or Flynn? Stafford In aBlizzard? Oh and then there was Cassel, who just about laid a 50 spot on ya 10 days ago.
It matters big time, it was a recent game with meaning, the bears game had no meaning.
