Getting rid of Tony Romo was the best cowboys decision ever.

How dare you!! Romo was the only guy holding the team together. Tony would have been a GREAT teacher for Dak.

So, take that and put it in your pipe and smoke it!!

You can improve it in spots. Just have to be careful with the spending.

There's a very valid point about being able to use FA and trades to improving the roster. FA and trades is exactly where you can effectively fill those holes or add depth to positions because you can't hit on enough draft picks consistently enough. Our track record in the past has been mixed at best. The additions of guys like Woods, Fleming and Sua Filo are good examples of how to use Free agency effectively to fill holes and depth. The problem is trying to use FA to fill key positions.

There are three ways to improve the roster.

1) Trades
2) Free Agency
3) Draft

There is plenty more we can do to improve free agency and trading (Cooper aside) but not much more we can ask for as far as the draft is concerned. I
m kinda hoping that ET and Cooper kick off a new era for trading and free agency with us maintaining our run of drafting.
