I came in on the mock draft late (had to go to the grocery store). I was trying to determine if Barnett had already been chosen. I think he was.

Sorry, but I wish I was more excited about this pick. I feel like we already have players on on our roster that fit his mold. I'm sure he'll be a 'good' player, but I'm not a fan of players that have the 'inconsistent' label. I'm hoping for a player with more speed and bend around the edge.. maybe I'm asking for too much.

Myles Garrett is who we really need, but that's a pipe dream. No knock on Taco, I personally feel like we have that type of player in David Irving.. & the Boys can't figure out if he's a DT or DE as it is. Marenilli's scheme is based off speed and anticipation. Dallas need to find a quick twitch, first step, speed DE that opponents have to account for.. which will open the door for others like Collins, Irving, and Lawrence to complement a combined pass rush. If it came down to Taco, id rather pick the best corner in the first and snag Jordan Willis or Basham in the 2nd.

About a third of those plays Taco was totally untouched. I could have made those plays.
