I support Dak, Jerry, Zeke etc...I've always been a company guy and don't like the attacks...I have no problem with well thought out criticism....that said, we have some glowing issues that concern me...Jerry's infatuation with OBJ....shut up and sign him or move on....Dak trying to live up to his contract, he hears the noise and it has affected his play....Michach needs to let the media go and do his talking on the field. MM needs to man up and take control of his team. Quinn needs to be more fundamentally sound and stop trying to rack up stats..on a positive, I'm very impressed with the relationship that Zeke and Pollard have...I give Zeke props for being a mentor. He's made his money and has swallowed his pride. I hope he takes a paycut and we can keep them both next year.

If Jerry could play any position in the NFL that he wanted, he would be a WR. The position just defines his personality.

Flamboyant, exciting, daring, cocky, the fast strike, big play star. that's Jerry.

Jerry loves him some WR and he's never shied away from proving it except once and he has regretted it his entire life.

This is the guy who paid two #1's for Joey Galloway, a #1 and a #2 for Roy Williams, signed TO, traded for Amari Cooper, drafted CeeDee Lamb......

Jerry can't help himself. He doesn't just want to win, he wants to dazzle, entertain, and excite. Nothing does that better than a dynamic playmaking WR.

The problem is, it never works out. Never.

Ranching, I really respect you being objective and pointing out real concerns with the team.
Quite a few posters here swing to one extreme or the other.
You don't have to be a homer or hater, just take a balanced view of the team.

TO lasted three years and was highly productive. What about Dez?

They've made a big improvement in run defense the past 4 games. Quinn adjusted the scheme and reduced the emphasis on sacks.

Players appear to enjoy the OBJ talk. Players don't pay attention to Jerry unless he is calling them out personally. Did your players pay attention to the principle if it didn't involve them personally?

The Jerry/OBJ media hype is good for players. It keeps the media off their backs.

McCarthy can answer questions about failed 4th downs or about Jerry/OBJ. He'll take the softball Jerry/OBJ questions all day and twice on Sundays. I think you would do the same...

The only Jerry comment I had an issue was about CB Joseph prior to Joseph's first start of the season. A young player does not needed added pressure in that situation.

Good point about Zeke.

Agree an Parsons. Negative comments to the media or on social media are not beneficial to him. Especially calling out the refs. Having said that, it's a trivial issue for a super star player. The alternate is LT on crack/hookers or Mike Irvin on crack/hookers, etc...

A Well stated - and well needed - post by a True Cowboys Fan - for all of us here at CZ to take in.

A great NFL Saturday slate to peek in on around your holiday obligations\festivities, with four teams in the playoff mix ... while you can finalize what you think will be the outcome of DAL @ JAX.

Yep, still too much noise coming out of The Star. I'm not sure it'll ever stop, unfortunately, since it starts at the top.

...will see how it plays out Sunday. These players will have to learn and grow from these situations. No other way around it.

Luckily, they have Peters and Hilton as VET mentors. They probably can share gems of experience.

One would think with the Cowboys on the verge on getting into the playoffs a second straight season + currently tied for the 2nd best record in the league (Bills, Chiefs, Vikings also 10-3) - the Dallas Owner\GM would just step back, be quiet, and let the coaching staff and players prepare and play well for the regular season finish so that they are at their best when the postseason starts.
