I support Dak, Jerry, Zeke etc...I've always been a company guy and don't like the attacks...I have no problem with well thought out criticism....that said, we have some glowing issues that concern me...Jerry's infatuation with OBJ....shut up and sign him or move on....Dak trying to live up to his contract, he hears the noise and it has affected his play....Michach needs to let the media go and do his talking on the field. MM needs to man up and take control of his team. Quinn needs to be more fundamentally sound and stop trying to rack up stats..on a positive, I'm very impressed with the relationship that Zeke and Pollard have...I give Zeke props for being a mentor. He's made his money and has swallowed his pride. I hope he takes a paycut and we can keep them both next year.

A well thought out thread . Yes Jerry needing to make headlines is absurd and needless .

Micah in a 20 point blowout against circus Bears in the last two mins is nonsensical and that’s where MM comes in . Tell Micah have a seat .

Dak has had his ups and downs but the Colts Texans Giants are disappearing from the schedule to be replaced by tougher more challenging defenses .

I'd like to see Jerry walk away from OBJ. For one thing, our offense is plenty good without him. Another thing is the team is really a tight unit and he could upset the chemistry. I'm really concerned that his presence will influence Moore and Dak to go back to throwing 40+ times a game. We know that's not our recipe for success.

Thank you for the non-extreme view. Nothing like objectivity from a coach! Hope MM steps up and asserts his role.

Agree 100% with your statement, “MM needs to man up and take control of his team.” This team needs discipline, focus and toughness in order to make a deep playoff run. Big Mac has done a very good job overall this year. Now is the time to bring this team to total focus.

I’m one of the guys that wanted OBJ but that was before I realized he wasn’t healthy. Now it’s time to move on. We signed TY and he’s done just as much as OBJ has in the past couple of years.

My biggest concern right now is not the offense however, it’s the defense. They haven’t looked the same in at least a month. If I’m focusing on anything it’s getting that ship righted. Losing the two corners have hurt and Parsons is wearing down.

I think part of why the defense looks different is because they're more focused on stopping the run than they were. I think that makes them less committed to getting to the QB.

Yeah I’m a company man also. And totally agree about sound criticism but I have no time for conspiracy theories or delusions. I think what bothers zoners fans is the promoter in Jerry Jones and they think he should just shut up I think he is funny but that’s minor thing. The dak issue has some validity because of his lack of consistency. But he is a top 10 player just not a top three some fans are looking for. We’re going to the playoffs. I’m having fun

Ranching, I hear what you're saying. The OBJ is just noise... The Micah thing is just noise. I (myself) don't have a problem with Quinn or McCarthy. Can they do stuff to improve? Absolutely. There's always room for improvement however, nothing that they are doing is really a concern. I'm not trying to take away your thoughts though.

The point I'm trying to make is we do have a serious concern, and nobody can convince me that this isn't a concern. And that is Kellen Moore.... I believe that is the pink elephant in the room. He stinks of Jason Garrett... His play calling is nothing different than if Jason Garrett was our OC or HC. He doesn't have what it takes to get us past one and done in the playoffs. If we weren't the calibur team that we are, I would have no issue with him learning on the job.

But where we are chomping at the bit to get past one and done in the playoffs, we need someone that can get us over that. I am sorry to say Kellen just isn't it.

The other pink elephant in the room is Dak. I'm not trying to be a Dak hater or Dak apologist. I'm just relaying what I see when I watch his play. He hasn't reached his ceiling and can still improve. My issue with him is (and I have said this in many other post responses) he knows who he will throw to as they break the huddle and will force feed the ball to said receiver come hell of highwater. He doesn't look to see who all is actually open during the play. He doesn't care if said receiver is single or double covered. He's going to throw to that receiver (that he planned before the hike) the ball no matter what. His eyes are glued on to that receiver.

I've heard many analysts and fans say the same thing and honestly, I didn't want to believe it myself until I watched that Colts game. I went out of my way to watch his actions to try to prove the naysayers wrong but when I saw it with my own 2 eyes, I couldn't conciously go back and say anything because I saw that they were talking about. I wanted to watch the Texans game but it wasn't showing in my area. I wanted to see that game as well just to see if he'd do it in that game as well.

I'll be watching the Jacksonville game I will be watching his actions again just to see if he does it again. I'll report back on Monday.

they are what they are. all hype. I don't think they are one tough guy on the team. maybe a killer who's scared to take credit for his first kill, but nobody else. can anyone name one bad tough guy on the team?

My question as well. "The elephant in the room" is the phrase used to describe something that should be obvious, but everyone is ignoring. The "pink elephant" is something used to describe a drunkard's hallucinations.

I think you figured it out lol

Edit: I was curious too
A "white elephant" is a troublesome or costly possession that's hard to get rid of. A "pink elephant" is something that people are said to see quite often when they're drunk. It's a drunken hallucination.
