There's a place here in Tucson that has the best thick crust ever. A large pie weighs 6 pounds I swear. For a measly 24 bucks no less. Chunks of sausage the size of quarters. No tiny shavings of sausage.

Zachary's. I highly recommend it.

On Beltline Rd. in Addison, Tx there was this Uno's that made deep dish pizza with fresh slices of tomatoes. It was pizza to die for.

I know I use to go there all the time. The only one they have in the DFW area is downtown Ft. Worth and I live McKinney, TX :(

It would figure that place would close up shop right before I move into that very area. It was replaced by a Pappa's Pizza eventually and that was pretty good. They had a Thursday night buffet where you could eat all the thick crust pizza you wanted for like 8 bucks.

They closed soon after I started going there. :(

Now it's some sort of grill which barely ever has anyone there. I figure that will close soon as well.

I voted for deep dish. Bread is good, more bread is better. More bread that can hold more toppings is betterer.

I prefer thick crust pizza because thin crust reminds me of the terrible cheap frozen ones.

But we do have a local place called The Memphis Pizza Cafe that makes some really good thin crust pizza and a great "Italian" sandwich.

Im going to eat half of a pizza or more either way.

So it has to be thin crust.

To me, there are actually 3 types of typical crust: thick, thin and hand-tossed, which is in between thick and thin.

I much prefer hand-tossed to thick or thin, especially when I have a little cup of marinara to dunk the crust in after I eat the slice. :)

I'm not a crust person so I used to give them to my dog. He loved pizza night. Probably why he was 120 lbs. :laugh2:

This is a hard question. It depends on the location. At some places I like their thick better and at some I like their thin better.

Neither. I don't like thin nor thick crust. Right in the middle is (hand tossed) is the only way I like my pizza crust.

Hand tossed is clearly the best choice. Pan(thick) or thin crust just doesn't taste right to me.
