Anyone else notice that there were many plays we ran yesterday where the play clock was at :08, :09, and sometimes greater than 10 seconds?

No more waiting around until the play clock is at :01 or :00 to snap the ball...wonder if it was something that can be attributed to the extra week to study the Falcons on film and therefore less need to check out the coverages at the line, or something that we worked on execution-wise.

Either way, our execution was great yesterday. Just need fewer penalties! :banghead:

Great observation! Yes, I noticed that the plays were getting in on time, and Romo had more time to survey the defense before having to snap the ball. In earlier weeks, he would get everyone lined up at :05, and then struggle to get the snap on time. They were lined up at :12 to :15 yesterday.
