The Cowboys have a lot of young talented players. This is not a bash the coaching staff thread but these players constantly have to put up with inept decisions coming from their own sideline. They call a timeout when the Eagles were about to get a delay of game anyway. They just wasted a timeout for no reason and one that could have been crucial. Their choice of a QB coach is laughable and the play calling is vanilla. I saw somewhere on the internet where an agent for former Cowboy players said they told him that the coaching in Dallas is the worst they had ever been around. I don't want more players like Witten, Romo, and others who played great to retire with nothing to show for it other than money. I know they make a lot of money but they're out there to WIN. With the way things are now we have to basically have a lot more talent than the opposition to secure a win because they are just not getting any help through coaching. In my opinion the sky is the limit with the talent we have but they need and deserve better guidance through coaching. I know the topics in this thread have been discussed numerous times by others posters but I guess I just need to vent a little. Been a Cowboys fan for 42 years and I've seen good coaching in Dallas even when they were squeeking into the playoffs. Parcells did more with half the talent than what Garrett is doing and he was only here a short time. If Jerry brings in someone like Norm Freaking Turner or some other "yes" man, the struggle will continue. I know everyone knows this and I guess I'm just hoping Jerry sees what these players are dealing with and gets the help they need. Jerry loves his players, you can see that. Its time to get some new faces on the sideline and let the young guys flourish. This is a really good team that is handicapped big time by Jerry's hires...........

Paragraphs please...

The timeout when the Eagles were trying to hurry that 4th down play was mind numbing.
