By tube, radio, web or print, BP has made his way under the football media microscope.

Outright questions on his effectiveness, desire and level of satisfaction that's left for the game are being made....loud and clear!

ANTI-BP arguements made that since his arrival....
- no definitive/effective QB plan
- 26/24 win/loss
- no playoff wins
- overall a questioning sense in his apparent lack in desire, level of energy and amount of satisfaction he has left for the game.

I believe in BP and expect someone of his caliber to rebound and come out on top after this QB/TO/OL situation cools.

Was interested in hearing other's thoughts??

I will admit, the question is starting to creep into my mind just a little and I am one of the most optimistic...positive thinking fans I know!

I agree on both points crazy. You start to wonder how much more he can take and you are one of the most optimistic fans on this board.

Besides me of course. ;)

Wow CC....i'm more of a zone reader than writer and pretty much read all posts. I took you as a man who makes his points with few, direct words....above you speak volumes for the true, all out Cowboys fan!

Parcells expressions throughout the MNF game were real discouraging. He looked like he had no idea what was happening and maybe he has lost control of the situation. I still think he has a great football mind, but maybe he should let the coaches coach. I mean, who is our offensive coordinator? Why is our defensive coordinator being forced to coach something he knew nothing about (and probably still struggles with)? Look at Sean Payton now. Maybe he was being held back some, huh?

Sean Payton.

that's one key piece of the puzzle that some are not really mentioning too much lately.

i'm glad you brought him up.

it really makes me wonder???

and yes, i have been questioning BP for some time now... i wonder if he has lost "it"???.... more than anything, his "know it all" attitude and stubborness has me aggravated at this point in his tenure.... his absolute disregard for developing and cultivating our next qb has me very, very puzzled - UNLESS Romo may really be the answer?

for the record, i think this Romo kid may have a little something... and i would not be shocked to see him go out and have a strong game this Sunday.

in short, i'm excited again about this team. now if we could ship out TO right quick, i'd love nothing more. (Flame away - but to me, he's so NOT worth it)

I figured Bill would be here 3-5yrs max. I wouldn't hold it against him if he left. I don't want him to end up like Joe Gibbs. A guy lost on the sidelines b/c the game, players and attitudes have passed him by (both are too good for that).

BUT if he did leave, I think Dallas should look for a young(ish) coach. Cowher? :p

I hate to sound like the overly optomistic coolaide drinking fan that I really am...............
HOWEVER, I don't see a desperate coach who has lost it, or a unmotivated coach who has lost it.
I see a hall of fame coach who has consistently stuck to his guns and called it like he saw it!
He didn't and wouldn't start Henson in the face of alot of pressure to do so because he didn't see it from Henson. And he was right!
Starting Romo is not the sign of a coach who's ready to pack it in. Continuing to play Bledsoe would signal that. He see it from Romo, thinks he's an upgrade and is willing to make the change and expose himself to a lot of critizism.

Keep the faith. If Romo's the answer were gonna have alot of fun the rest of the season. I think Parcells comes back next year and fixes our OL for one more run at it!

i agree with most of what you say but wonder if a drastic change such as replacing Bledsow with unproven Romo, at half time, on Monday Night....Prime Time.....could be percieved as panic type reaction.

I think it was more of a "Why the **** didn't I do this sooner?" reaction.

With a little bit of a "WTH is he doing out there?" reaction.

But everything Parcells has said since pre-season said this move was coming, so I have trouble reconciling it as a 'panic' move.

it's that "Something" that he and Sean Payton apparently saw.

I think Bill's thinking of winning this year. I may have been a bit harsh in m comment about him being lost though. What I meant is that I don't want him to hang around longer than he should, though I think he's wiser than Gibbs and will know when to exit (hopefuly on top)

For the first time since he got here, I think he should probably go. He really proved to me the other night that had no plan and had no control over the team. He let disgruntled fans dictate who he starts at QB. High school coaches know better than that.

:lmao: No, Bill's decision had nothing to do with Bledsoe's endzone pass to Sam Madison.
