I have to admit I never expected to see such negativity after this draft. I'm starting to think there should be a section where only positive things can be said. It's ridiculous, the team just tried to accomplish something and the only thing some people can come up with are harsh criticism. Why, because your pet cat didn't get drafted? Because you know more about drafting than the professionals? Buck up, get over it and try getting on the right side of the team.

I mostly just read, rarely post anything so it's been hard reading over and over usually from the same 4 people how crappy the Cowboys did. But the way i see it, yea they didn't get who i wanted them to get, but i cant change it, they know more than me. Does me no good to complain. These guys are Cowboys now, im ready to roll with these guys we drafted.

Claiborne was a HUGE pickup. I never thought we had a chance at him. I would have preferred to keep the second round pick, but I think our secondary is going to be good this season.

I am disappointed we didn't take a guard or center in the third, but we needed a DE.

I really like the Coale pick and I think Johnson will turn into a Justin Beriault without the knee problems.

Hanna and Wilber seem like projects with a lot of upside. These are the two that I think are in doubt, but maybe in a couple of years can step in and play.

All in all I think we did good.

No, I haven't criticized a brand new unproven Cowboy who hasn't even practiced with the team yet. Wrong again. That's the point of this thread.

I know your a new member here and are already going for Hos post record but you sound almost suprised that there is negativity on a message board. are you very young of did you just get the internet? Because i would say the majority of message boards/forums across the internet. Have you ever checked any others out? Especially sports and media forums they are mostly negative. Not trying to bust on you but most people are not shiny happy people like yourself.

A word of advice to you seeing as how your join date is March 2012.

What you've seen the last few days regarding draft criticism is actually pretty mild. It gets much worse than this. If you find a bothersome trend with certain posters you'll be much better off ignoring them or putting them on ignore than trying to get them to change or "see the light."

You're not trying to bust on me yet your post is littered with quite a few passive aggressive remarks.

1) I'm not going after Hostiles post record, whatever that is.
2) I didn't just get to the internet.
3) I have a life so I haven't spent much time on any message boards except for this one.
4) So because all of the other boards are negative miserable places to hang out and talk, this one and others should be as well?
5) Are you so old, cynical and stuck in your ways that you think nothing should ever change?
6) I'm not always shiny and happy, right now is an excellent example of that.

I wonder if some of the members on this board are just toxic folks that have a history of being marginalized by even their own friends and family. Let me explain. The institution where I work has numerous much older folks who make it their daily chore to be as negative and toxic as possible. Any new ideas are quickly shot down by the toxic bunch, stifling progress. So, if you are one of those folks that has remained toxic and negative all of your life, you must ask yourself the following question: Does anybody really give a crap about my thoughts, and are good folks just waiting for me fade away into obscurity? The resounding answer would certainly have to be - YES!
