The post-Coughlin era in NY

Several things, but think Tom Coughlin will be in a forced retirement soon....winning two SBs will keep him from being fired outright.

Their GM may get the boot.

This alone could be a good discussion: who did more for the Giants - Coughlin or Parcells?

Then there is the question of who the next Giants coach will be? Heard Bill Cowher has been waiting for this position to open.

I have a best friend whose a Giants fan and he believes that Cowher has been waiting for this position to open up before returning to the NFL.

Parcells did far more for the Giants than Coughlin. The Giants were a joke of a franchise for nearly 2 decades before Parcells and in short time he turned them into a winner and then 2-time Super Bowl champs. Had he been a flop, I really question how the Giants organization would have turned out.
