Kellen Moore yes I said it I think this kid has a good of an NFL career as any other quarterback going in this draft. If this kid somehow fell to the second day of the draft and we could trade down in the first and pickup an extra 2nd I think this would be great for the future here. You can never have too many good qb's on your roster. If 3-4 years down the road romo is winning us superbowls then he would be good trade bait if not then he would be ready to step in and win some games for us.

Also as much as I love romo is you could get one of these top quarterbacks + a draft pick in the 2nd round in this year or next years draft I would be all over that. Simply because I dont think we are a team that is gonna come back and contend for a superbowl next year with romo healthy. What im saying is i dont think tony is untradeable. The price would have to be right but theres so many good prospects in this draft if we could get one of them and a good draft pick it could set us up for an awsome club in the future.

In before someone tells me about how none of these QBs have proved anything in the pro's yet.

You could be correct im not 100% sure either. But man he sure would be a solid prospect if we could pick him up with say a 4th or 5th rounder.

He may go 6th or 7th rd. It wouldn't shock me if if he goes undrafted.

At 6' and well under 200lbs., he just doesn't have the body to take the beating your typical nfl qb takes on a weekly basis.

Even if he gains 30lbs., he'd still be considered "light".

tell that to drew breese.

I think a QB no one is talking about who could become a very nice pickup for someone late in the draft is Andy Dalton of TCU.

THIS is my guy.

reading your post right and you're saying that we should trade Romo for one of the QBs that's coming out this year and draft pick ?

He can't put much zing on the ball. I don't think he projects well to the NFL.

Moore is staying at Boise for his senior year.
He will be an interesting prospect. To me he has the football mind of a young Manning, but has the body of Ty Detmer. If anything I think he will make a very good backup for a team with an established starter. He will be able to pick up an offense through film study and limited practice snaps and will provide a good sounding board for the starting QB.

Im not saying we give tony away but I really believe our team is a few years away from a superbowl title. If someone would offer us a top 10 pick for tony and maybe a 3rd to go with it I think you have to consider it.

To me the most important aspect of any QB is the how quick they can process information under pressure. Yeah big arm is great or mobility but in the end it comes down to a guy making quick decisions. Montana was never known for a strong arm but the man could make the quick reads and put the ball on the money. Physical attributes are great but what takes place between the ears is what will make or break any QB

Moore will stay at Boise and boost his stock. As long as he doesn't get hurt or have a bad season - which he wont, since Boise doesn't play anybody - he'll be a top 10 pick next year at QB.

This is the wrong year for him to come out at QB - Mallett, Gabbert, Luck, Newton, etc.

did you not watch any games this season? We could possibly go into next year with 6 or more new starters.

Where were the Chicago Bears last year ? What about Tampa Bay ? Atlanta ? How about Jacksonville ?

Kansas City Chiefs ?

If you haven't learned by now that in today's NFL there's no such thing as a " few years away from the Superbowl ", then you haven't been paying attention at all.
