If Romo leaves in the off-season we will need a backup QB. I prefer it not be Sanchez so I'm talking about Kellen Moore. He is an unrestricted free agent, do you think we bring him back to the backup if he wants to return?

Hard to believe that Moore would have probably been our starter this season if he had not gotten hurt since Romo went down after, although perhaps Dak would have beaten him out anyway.

Would much prefer Sanchez to Moore.

If the starter goes down, I'd rather not have a guy who's getting his first shake in the NFL as a backup. I'd take Sanchez over Moore. I imagine one of the safest backups out there.

I expect Moore to be in camp beyond that I think he will have to earn a roster spot.

I'd be surprised if Moore is not with the team next year. He is always near Tony when the offense is on the field and is with Tony and Linehan working with Dak on the bench. If they didn't appreciate what he brings to the table he wouldn't be there. I can't imagine it's common for a no name backup QB who is on IR to travel with the team. It appears he's actively involved in every game.

I dont understand why Sanchez gets so much crap around here. Sanchez is one of the better backups in the league. We should keep him.

Perhaps we find another gem. Perhaps the OL, Running Back, the support cast can make any QB look better. I get it, things are changing, let's change our expectations while we are at it. :)

Moore sucks. Sanchez would be a solid backup and has a good relationship with Dak. He would be a much better choice.

Because he is a 1 read QB who turns the ball over quite a bit when pressured.

Moore isn't really a qualified back up. Sanchez, may be a laughing stock buttfumbler, but he has played in the playoffs. Marķ is OK for managing a few games.

Yeah I don't quite understand the disdain for Sanchez as a backup. Look at some of the better backups in the league -- Hoyer, McCown, etc. All pedestrian full-time starters, but a guy you can trust in a pinch for a few games. I think Sanchez fits that mold perfectly.

I wouldn't mind bringing back both Moore and Sanchez. Sanchez because you know what he is, and Moore for the upside given that Linehan loves him.

Well we all saw what Sanchez does (like Doomsday called it) and not sure if I would spend the money ($2 million) to keep him around next year. Moore is going to win games for us way cheaper than Sanchez...

Time to draft another one over these scrubs.
I think you need to fix you sig.
Not an RG3 fan at all but he had 5 ints (and 7 turnovers to Dak's 8), so better than the 10 by Wilson. Unless maybe you just wanted Wilson's name on there? Not sure.
just fyi, nothing more
