We seriously need to address CB next off-season. Scandrick gets abused by quick wr's. Actually, Scandrick gets abused by any WR's. We need to move Newman to the slot like he's done in the past.

It's like they get that first Cowboys paycheck and cash their careers in for the majority of the stay. It's like football vacation, playing for the Cowboys.

Why Spencer to ILB?

I think we need to get some speed at ILB. Hopefully, Jason Williams develops into a 3 down player, because our LB group could use an infusion of speed into it.

Scandrick is getting abused like a red headed step child, at times, it seems. Newman's had a down year too. We need to bring in another CB next year to push Scandrick for the nickle spot.

Folk has been awful this year. Wonder how much the surgery is affecting that. I am willing to give him this year.....because he's been so good the first 2 years for us. There's no need to cut him now like some are clamoring for. Look at him in the offseason, if he regains form, you keep him, if not, you move on.

Folk's funk couldn't come at a worse time. I can only hope he snaps out of it.
Scandrick...is the guy just having a bad season?? Jenkins looked average most of last year but great this year. I guess Scandrick has shown the coaches something but wow did he kill the Cowboys tonight. I mean, Smith has skill; give him credit but Scandrick is the weak link. (Obviously)

Spencer got caught looking inside on that jacobs screen but it's hard to fault the guy. I'm more pissed the crappy refs didn't call holding since Sensabaugh was dragging smith.

No one can hang this game on Romo. Guy played lights out.
The RBs I don't blame them either they were constantly hit yards behind the line. The OL needs to be challenged for a chance to beat philthy again.

I was being sarcastic with the Spencer comment.

He's wayyy too slow to be an ILB.

I mean, Jamarcus Russell shook him in the pre-season. Then he makes Brandon Jacobs look like Chris Johnson? say no more.


And kicker is one position you don't have a lot of time to be patient with. You try to "develop" a kicker, and you could lose a couple games in the process.

Talent wise, this team could play with the best. The problem here is coaching. Their coach has the "aw, shucks" attitude and we have no fire, no killer instinct. Until he leaves, the end result will be the same.

The playcalling and personnel decisions don't make sense a lot of times either. Remember '07? Start Felix/Choice and finish with Barber!

On their last FG drive, where Smith ended up dropping a TD pass on third down (covered by who else, Scandrick), on 2nd and goal, Scandrick was lined up wide against Manningham.

They had a run called and Manning audibled to a slant because he saw Scandrick out there and not Jenkins/Newman.

Teams used to do the same thing to us back when we had Reeves.

To be honest with you, I don't believe you are overreacting all the way except for Spencer to Inside Linebacker. I believe that Spencer is playing well but some of his timing was off today.

I believe that it's time Cowboys need to part ways with Nick Folk. Cowboys can't have mishaps. It's been consecutive games he's missed field goals and with December here and Cowboys trying to make a push for the playoffs I believe that a field goal kick is going to be vital to Cowboys success and momentum. If the Cowboys can't have a steady consistent game at kicking field goal, the Cowboys will have to rely on their offense to produce enough numbers to win the game and hopefully the defense step up.

I really feel you on your comments about getting another conerback. It's a true need. Newman has been with the Cowboys and really have been overrated but at the same time he played solid. Orlando Scandrick gets picked apart completely, but, overall I believe that he has alot of upside. Scandrick is a good slot conerback, not good on the outside. I believe Scandrick will improve but I believe the Cowboys should look at the secondary once the season is over with. I have to say hands down Mike Jenkins is Cowboys best conerback.


But, for now, I believe that the Cowboys have to improve and just try to get better. Now, Cowboys have to fight game in and game out to make the playoffs. Every game Cowboys play now is like a playoff game. I believe if they can't succeed some heads is going to turn.

I feel you. It really bothers me. But im the type of fan im not going to put my expectations too high because I know how the Cowboys can make you feel just looking at the every game confidently.

Cowboys is just like suspense, you don't know what to expect, and a whole lot of games that Cowboys play is scary.

we saw today why this team never wins in the playoffs...when its a back against the wall game , the other team always wants it more..Hixon wanted to run that punt back a lot more than anyone wanted to tackle him..same with Branshaw on his breakin tackles run...the coach is soft and the players are soft..no one is held accountable for any mistake...this team is more talented than the Giants..they simply wanted it more...8 and 4 will turn into 8 and 6 in 2 weeks..If the Giants beat Philly next week they will own the division lead again with the tiebreaker over Dallas...really bad game to not care enough about...if you want to blame someone though, blame Jones..Phillips never should have been hired, and certainly should have been fired after the Philly game last year

You can bring in a new coach or new players, you can build the best stadium the world has ever seen and have a great draft but the story is always the same around here. We'll get a new coach, they may even do well like Wade did and like Parcells did but in the end, we're still the Cowboys, for better or worse.
