The "Norszone"?

I was wondering if we should rename this place the "Norszone". I love this board, but it's a shame that every other thread has become "Nors bashes Henson" or "Nors masterbates over 3-4 defense". We all know what he is going to say all the time, but he has that ability to irritate the logical people who are without an agenda. Our problem is that we always take his bait. It's like a gnat that flies around in your face in the outfield - you try to ignore it, but eventually you just start swatting at it. You're not going to kill it, but it's just so annoying that you have to react to it. I give you credit Nors, like many entertainers you are able to get a reaction from people even if what you are doing is very repetitive (e.g. Alice Cooper or Gwar). The bottom line is that it's everyone but Nors' fault that the board has become the Norszone, because we take the bait. Now about that 3-4.......

Actually, I enjoy reading everyone's input. I like some and disagree with others, however, "IT IS WHAT IT IS" and that is a Dallas Cowboys chat room.

Equally annoying are threads and posts like this that needlessly and gratuitously bash Nors.

Some of his posts are agenda-filled and more than a little transparent, but I don't blame him for wanting to get his shots in... for every shot he gives, he receives 10 more... and often the ones he receives are much more personal and mean-spirited.

And for the most part he takes these shots with good humor. I know I wouldn't react nearly as well if I was recieving the pot-shots he regularly gets.

Maybe he wouldn't post as many of his agenda-filled threads if he wasn't being personally called-out so often. A lot of people make off-the-wall predictions here... few are as personally attacked for them as Nors is. And honestly, he's been right on some pretty big issues.

I never get into these Nors-related argument threads because it's so obvious that they're destined to degenerate into name-calling... but I did want to post here because there are far too many threads that bash him just for the sake of bashing him.

And on that note..I like the idea of re-naming this Zone (which I just noticed today for the first time), the Nors Zone....

with the stipulation he be confined to this Zone exclusively.
