The quotes I've been thinking of the last few weeks

"Oh, my God," defensive tackle tackle Ryan Pickett said, via Bob McGinn of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. "It's the best zone scheme in the league. They say it's old, the Wisconsin scheme.

"The last four weeks, nobody could stop it — their zone scheme. And they gave up on it. We're just happy they did. We were, like, 'OK, we'll take it.'"

Cornerback Tramon Williams, who picked off the second Romo duck, was equally shocked. It's become clear that the Cowboys' opponents respect their running game more than the Cowboys seem to.

"That's just who they are," Williams said. "They run the ball really well against everybody they play, but they just never stick with it."

I really have to give it up to Jerry, Callahan, the scouting department. They've put together the best running attack in the NFL. I still think we need to pass the ball a bit more, but I really enjoyed seeing Dunbar and Escobar getting involved. Escobar can be a real threat in the redzone, and Dunbar put on his best Sproles impression today. Randle also ran really hard. The success the other running backs had, is going to make it more difficult to pay Murray. He's a great runner (Though I wish he wouldn't run into his own guys), but it'll be tough to keep him at a high compensation, when others can replicate his production.

Yeah I remember you posting that - I just hope we can stay healthy because if we can, physicality is like playing defense in basketball, it's a constant that can be counted on every single game.

Yep...incredibly, they are on pace to amass one of the top 3 seasons in Cowboys rushing history. While they likely won't get near '78 and '81, 2,600 yards will easily surpass their 2,100 yard 2009 campaign. They also look set to amass more rushing yards than in any of the Superbowl years.
