The time to be super aggressive was when MM was here, and have added something legit to those hollow twelve win seasons.

If you want to get aggressive, don’t be so timid with free agents. Do that AND keep your premium picks and things may happen.

I would honestly give up the remaining 2027 1st, a 2028 3rd, and Sam Williams (Dallas would need some roster room to accommodate Crosby and the Raiders will need an edge rusher).

They can give up Crosby and a 2027 or 2028 6th. Don't think Jerry could finesse a 5th round pick for Sam Williams. Lol

Seattle had the “right blueprint”. The Rams are also had the “right blueprint”.

The Seahawks went cheap at QB and loaded up assets into a run game and defense.

The Rams gambled future assets for current superstars and acquired a great QB in Stafford.

Both plans work far better than the Jerry and Stephen plan of “draft your guys and only trade future picks if drafting your guys doesn’t work out”.

Dallas traded for guys like Quinnen Williams and Amari Cooper out of desperation, because their “plan” going into those respective seasons sucked.

It wasn’t a “plan” a smart team like Seattle or LA would have ever attempted in the first place.

Just read up on the Decker situation with Detroit and it was obviously over money.

That being the case, I don’t see him coming here. Someone will lose a starting tackle in August and find about 12 million to pay him. There’s no way Stephen is going anywhere near that figure. I was hoping he was a southern guy, but nope…Ohio. He ain’t coming here.

Caleb might have to play LT in a pinch after all.
