Does anyone else expect to see a lot more of this come playoff time? Especially in Redzone situations...?

You gotta leave everything on the field in the playoffs and we have seen it used throughout the season but with everything on the line in the playoffs I think it will be a tool we use against teams cheating against the run.

Last night was a clinic on all the things we can do if you cheat against the run.

That Dak keep was a thing of beauty last night. I just wanted to frame it and place it on the shelf.

This was Dak's bread and butter play in college and it is very deadly in the red zone now. Need to have it available come playoff time as well. Dak just needs to slide and not take on direct hits.

If I were Garrett or Linehan I would pull together every trick play possible for the offense and practice them weekly from here on out. Then look for the tendencies which fit to plays the team has rehearsed.

Become so unpredictable the other team has to watch out for everything.

I think it was in one of the threads talking about offensive adjustments after the Giants game, but yes. I totally expect more read option and guess that they have been saving it specifically for the playoffs.

Personally don't want to see Dak running much unless it's - metaphorically - a life and death situation. The fewer hits he takes the better.

We've seen a lot of QB's use it and then they go on to have short careers because that was the main thing they were good at.


Well we all know Dak can sit in the pocket and throw as well so what he does is repeatable.


He just also happens to have the skill set to run like a runningback. IMO, we will see Dallas use this quite a bit more all over the field come playoff time. It will just be like another type of misdirection play and it's fairly safe.

That's a good October mindset. In January you lay it all on the line.
