I also wouldn't hate trading down, picking Paxton Lynch and then grabbing Derrick Henry at RB with the second pick. As for CB? Meh...we always seem to crap out on CB when we draft them.

Crap out or not, if they like Ramsey you turn in the card. Regardless of what happened in the past.

Do you think we are one CB away from the dance? I dunno, man. We NEED a viable option at QB (both for the future and possible Romo injury) and we need a fresh young cowbell RB. There are quite a few good DBs in this class. Drafting Ramsey at 4 would just be ignorant.

Now having said all that they will probably draft LB Jack and he will suffer a season ending injury during TC.

I totally agree with you about QB and I personally do not like Ramsey at 4 . I was just pointing out just because some of the cb's crapped out it shouldn't sway you from drafting one if they are high on him regardless of pick/round.

If the best player on your board @ 4 is Ramsey at a position of need, you take him. Unless there is a QB there you really really like.

They need a db more than they need an rb, and i dont particularly value dbs. If there was a guy in the defensive box that is equal in value to ramsey at 4, id rather they take him. I just cant see anything that indicates there is, and that seems to be the consensus, given the uncertainty of jack's health.

The best you can say about taking ee is youre drafting for need, which is already a mistake. The worst you can say (and the reason i dont want them to do it) for it is that youre overpaying for a position that isnt even a need at this time.

Devastated? Why?

I just see much better players at 4. If we are getting a pass rusher at 4 it needs to be a double digit sack guy. I don't see Bosa being that guy. I would rather grab a different position at 4 (if no trade back) and grab a DE in the 2nd or 3rd.

Am I just missing how good Bosa is?

I don't see any glaring difference between the guys in the top 10 and the rest of the 1st round. Other than the $5 million price tag, we should get over expecting the unquestioned WOW factor at #4. This year is what it is. That doesn't mean these guys are going to suck. I'm sure Bosa & Ramsey are both going to be good starters in this league. Just pick whoever they prefer.

The one thing I don't agree with is paying $25 mill guaranteed on a rookie RB. He might be everything advertised, but our Oline will make any good back worth passing on him.

We need a lot of starters and being at the top of the board should get us an extra guy or two that actually will make the team better.

I guess its possible that they end up missing, but there havent been a lot of prospects at their positions that jump out more than tunsil or ramsey.

Teams will want to trade up, and if Dallas goes back to 12-15, they could get a 2nd and 3rd most likely.

How does Shaq Lawson and four more picks in the top 110 sound?

More picks at the top of the list sounds better from what I'm looking at.

Franchise tags.

The odds of the Cowboys taking him are greater than not.
Unless a trade down happens.

I don't think Tunsil is slotted to be a RT. Everything I read on him says LT only and that his best traits are pass blocking not run blocking.
I would almost bet money that Dallas would not take a chance on him.
