The real problem on defense

What a class A tard. The defense vastly improved and against a legit QB. But, every time we lose a game the trolls come out and discount the win. It's just 2 games, do people honestly think the defense will become worse?

I watch Washington move the ball up and down the field only to self destruct. This D looks very close to last years

Remember last week Dart had a field day with RECEIVERS WIDE OPEN? Well, we at least cleaned that up a bit, which is why Daniels had so many rushing yards. We had plenty of pressure as well; we just need to finish. Yes, we still have a long way to go but there WERE signs of improvement. Communication and energy were way better than in the first game.

Going to play Devil's Advocate here. While this week was better than last week, there were two wide open receivers that should have had touchdowns. The pass to Burks was just inches out of his reach, and he burned his defender badly. The trick play that had McLaurin open in the end zone is another one, and had the pass been thrown inside shoulder instead of behind his shoulders, that's a touchdown. Quinn went ****** at the end of the half by not kicking the field goal. Kudos to the defense for keeping the Commies out of the end zone though!

True, but last week there were receivers wide open on nearly EVERY play. Not so much this week........which is why Daniels had more rushes than you would expect. It isn't much in the big picture but again, some improvement.

That drive where Washington missed the field goal had to be one of the hardest to watch defensively in decades. It was like Mariota was invisible. Defenders were within arms reach but they seemed to been looking for someone else to go after.... it was play after play ughhh
