We have a mauling type of o-line but we just don't dedicate ourselves to it. You know sometimes even if you are getting 2yards or less running the ball you still have to do it. I look at the top teams that are in the playoffs and the have a few things in common, they run the ball well (balt,ny,carolina,atl,tenn) and because they are so committed to the run it makes them tough. We are a soft team and we need to toughen up mentally and begins with trusting the millionaires in the trenches. Hopefully we will let them bust up some people next year just to set the tone.

That's true. I know Marcellus Wiley is an idiot, but I think he might be onto something with his strength and conditioning theory. Other than Jerry Jones, the S&C coach is the other common denominator during all these December swoons.

Absolutely! Need to be able to carry the rock and balance is most important. But you have to be able to push the rock through the ground game. Makes your defense better just by controlling the clock.

We also never have a defense that can out will its opponents. Look at the Raven's defense and how mentally it's been consistent since 2000. They are always on the field and even in the 4th quarter they don't break down or slip. That's what happens when you have leaders like Ray Lewis and Ed Reed on that side of the ball. They never give up, relentless.

I believe there are many Cowboy fans that would like to see us change from a pass first to a run first offense. We have the pieces in place to do that. Watching the Cowboy teams under Jimmy impose their will and ram it down oponents throats was really something to see. Now we only catch glimpses of that with MBIII when we have a lead in the 4th quarter.
