The reason why we can be satisfied with this game

Yes, the first half was just incredibly bad on offense, Dak had more rust on his game than expected. Kellen's ludicrous calls did their own.

But, as a whole they continued to do what has worked in those previous 4 wins. Playing an unspectacular game management kind of offense. Utilizing the run game instead of hanging the QB out to dry will be the recipe for more wins down the road. And when Dak found his rhythm, they did just enough to win it. The defense could have allowed their usual 16 points.

Now of course this won't be enough for the play offs. We would have lost against the Eagles again today. But this game was to show if Dak can be in control of his offense and he was.

So while the next game will also be more of a practice session, once we face GB we'll know where we stand. And as of now we're not in such a bad position all things considered. Instead of getting hyped up like last season it's been a reality check after reality check this year. And I like it that way.

One game at a time. And no more racking up useless stats.

There’s always room for improvement, for every team.

Of course there is. The problem on this board is if you say Dak needs to play better it's a problem. We just played the worst defense in the NFL and got most of our points because the defense gave us a super short field. QB play and possibly play calls today were the reason we struggled.

Everyone should’ve known Dak was going to be rusty after missing six weeks. He’s played less than a full game of football since January. Yet he was still OK. No turnovers and made some good throws. Was he really good today? No and I didn’t expect he would be in his first game back. The play calling? Yes, it sucked for the most part.

This team isn't complete yet. They are still getting people back and figuring out who they are and what they can do . The future is bright

nothing like calling a reverse up 17-6 trying to bleed the clock

im telling you he's gonna pull out a flea flicker up 23-20 in an important game with 1 minute left on 3rd down at midfield
It’s been a problem all season. Did this crap on the giants game. 3rd and 1 or 2 he just can’t run up the middle . Hey if u don’t get it, it’s all on the players at the point. But pitching it off 5 yards back and running to the outside. McCarthy needs to get on him

He was like 19 for 25 with zip and accuracy. What’s the problem?

ST, Running Game, and defense looked very good today…..if the passing game was better it would have been a blowout instead of the offense scoring just 1 TD into the 3rd quarter

so if we had gotten 5 turnovers and 5 sacks against the Eagles we lose. I doubt that. Dak feast off nfc east teams.

exactly

He reminds me of a Chef that can make really good food but will take an excellent pork chop golden and crispy then dip it in ketchup and sprinkle crushed froot loops on it...
