28: R1P28
S JABRILL PEPPERS
MICHIGAN

60: R2P28
CB JOURDAN LEWIS
MICHIGAN

92: R3P28
WR AMARA DARBOH
MICHIGAN

133: R4P26
TE JAKE BUTT
MICHIGAN

211: R6P27
OT DAN SKIPPER
ARKANSAS

228: R7P10
EDGE DARIUS ENGLISH
SOUTH CAROLINA

246: R7P28
EDGE AL-QUADIN MUHAMMAD
MIAMI

This would piss off some people but I would be thrilled with this haul.

Peppers - Can't play safety. B.S. - Michigan played him at LB because they wanted him involved in every play. Not many 200 lb'ers could handle LB but that is a testament to just how good this guy is. I wouldn't be surprised if he became the best safety in the NFL

Lewis - Too small B.S. - One of my favorite corners in the draft and it is amazing what a big deal people make about 1 inch. If he were 6 foot no one would say he is too short.

Darboh - We need a receiver and he is a good one.

Butt - injured may not be ready from day 1. Great we don't need him on day 1.

Skipper - we need an OT

English - too thin - Feed him some biscuits and gravy and watch him go.

Muhammad - character issues. O.K. 7th round pick. I will take the gamble on a guy with his skill set.

ignoring the "D" line until round 7 is unlikely a BPA plan.

I actually like all 4 of the Michigan guys. Lewis is a really good football player, as is Peppers. I'm not convinced he's good enough in coverage but he might be.

Darboh is actually one of my favorite WR's in this draft. I'd take him in the third even with our defensive needs.

Butt is a young Witten in a lot of ways.

I want to see some DL but I do like those guys.

Darius English and Muhammad replacing Jack Crawford and Ash is a nice upgrade.

Peppers was the no 1 CB prospect in the nation and no 2 overall. He can cover a heck of a lot better than Church or Wilcox.

I don't doubt that at all. I just haven't watched enough of him strictly in coverage to have formed my own opinion beyond a very superficial understanding. I have seen him in coverage but I haven't watched him, if that makes sense, lol.

Soon I'll take the time to watch him some. Until then, I'll take your word for it.

I had a similar mock taking three straight Michigan players about a month ago, I like it. Of the Michigan, Ohio State, Alabama prospects the Michigan players seem to be slotted closer to our picks and I'm totally fine with that

I like Lewis, but Dallas won't take him in the 2nd. He doesn't fit the mold we like in our DB's, and his ability to cover outside in the NFL is questionable.

If we take a DE in FA, a youngish one, i'd be okay with Peppers at safety.

If we splurge on a DE in FA, like Ingram, i'd be even finer with CB in first, Eddie Jackson in 2nd, if they're BPA.

I like Darboh too. I think we'll target a guy in the 3/4 and he's on my short list as of right now.

If Butt is there in the 4th, that's a done deal.

Lewis is only 1 inch shorter than Brown though. I think Mcclay is on a short leash with the dumb (no short cornerback) rule.

Maybe. Brown was also a 6th round pick, and Lewis' height, or lack thereof, hindered him a bit during Senior Bowl workouts.

I like him, but I think a 2nd is a little rich for him.

28 is too high to take Peppers. There will be better players on the board at 28.
