Think about it. With Spygate still looming over the Patriots, Roger Goodell and the NFL are quaking in their boots about the Patriots losing to the Cowboys or any other good team.

The Patriots winning the Superbowl would be the only thing that would put Spygate to rest because that would prove to many people that the Patriots did not cheat in winning their last 3 Superbowls.

It would also reaffirm the integrity of the NFL and keep the NFL as the #1 sport in America.

If the Patriots lost to a good team like the Cowboys and lost in the playoffs, then many fans would scream that Spygate was the only reason the Patriots won the big games.

Boys and girls, the fix is in. And I'm going to plunk down some money on the Patriots winning it all this year. Hey, I might as well profit from this joke of a commissioner. So SCREW YOU Roger Goodell!!!!

Tom Brady screwed us by shredding our secondary to pieces.

Guy has 21 TDs vs. 2 INTs this year... freakin' unreal. That's better than a 10/1 TD/INT ratio. And Peyton Manning didn't even have a 5/1 ratio in his ridiculous 2004 season.

Hate him all you want, but Tom Brady is the kind of player I'll be happy I had the privelige of watching in 10 years or so.

I don't think anyone would argue that Brady can slice up a secondary. That is part of the equation without a doubt.

However we do have problems in our secondary, even if the problem is a CB that can not seem to stay healthy.

Think of this question.

If you had to pick a weakness on our defense right now, would the secondary be one of the biggest weaknesses? I think it would be.

I think our secondary is a weak point, and although it is not awful, it could not measure up to what NE put on the field yesterday. That being said, a better offense would have helped our defense yesterday.

Yep. I noted in another thread that at times I think we abandon the run game to early and get a little to pass happy.

I would also argue that a healthy Terry Glenn could make a difference as a legit deep threat to help take pressure off elsewhere.

We just lost. That is all.

LOL.. Exactly... The sooner we all move on to next week to get that 6-1 going into the bye week the better.

I am just glad we are not having our bye week now. We would be over analyzing things to a degree we would all be sick of it.:laugh2:

Sorta like the phantom offensive PI call on Randy Moss that negated Brady's 6th TD pass? The bad calls go both ways.

What really pissed me off is that they called the Moss TD (the deep one that was overturned) a TD at first with so much CONVICTION. You have to be kidding me. He bobbled the ball initially nullifying his footwork then clearly didn't secure the ball at the end.
