The refs screwed us

It is clear refs have one hand on the flag in these late game situations looking for defensive PI especially for a tom brady team but not offensive PI

Don’t forget “tripping” penalties!

I thought the refs gave us a few breaks not calling holding on the OL when there was obvious holding. What hurt us was no pass rush when we knew Brady would be dropping back and throwing.

I thought the refs called a good game. McGovern got away with a false start and that facemask was iffy.

The bottom line is you can't leave that many points on the field vs good teams and expect to win.

If that’s OPI at the end of the game then tonight was also OPI. End of story. It’s hard to enjoy games when it seems like some sort of ref call always screws us.

I agree. I just feel like the refs are very inconsistent with some calls like holding or pass interference. Other stuff gets reviewed but holding and PI are very subjective. I am not saying these calls always go against us but they do have an impact on the outcome of some games.

he absolutely did lol. and even still, there is no comparison in a hard to discern call and a blatant nocall. if it takes slow mo replay to determine that something that looked to occur didn't it in no way compares to something that very obviously did occur. god i'm sick of you

They were 7 yards away from FG range, maybe less. Plenty of time and plays to still set up a GW FG. It’s not like the penalty occurred on 4th down extending the drive or that all of those 24 yards were necessary to win the game. TB still had a great chance to position themselves to kick the GW FG.
