I am one of the fans who believes that, overall, we get the short end of the stick when it comes to penalties. Today, however, we seemed to actually get a couple of calls. I even saw Carolina get a holding call! I know people say that we never hear from fans that we got some favorable calls and only complain about getting screwed. Well here is a thread when a fan is admittig that we got a few. I think we deserved to win and I'm glad that we didn't have to overcome the refs today.

I was thinking the same thing. I don't remember the last time that multiple close calls went in our favor. `The horsecollar was obviously the worst one, but I don't think it would have made a difference anyways in the long run.

I LOVED the horsecollar call. All of the Panthers fans can now preach to each other that the refs calls all even out, and they can't blame the loss on the refs.

Yeah. We definitely got the bad calls in our favor this week.

overdue

honestly it would not bother me a bit if we started to get the calls going our way

We have been victimized so much over the years

I never thought I'd see the day where they gave us some calls. Now if they could be so kind and give us some calls next week ;)

Yea, almost every flag I announced it against us before the actual call. I think the refs were more to my liking today than usual.

i'm not much into the conspiracy stuff but it is curious how few holding calls other teams' offense get against us

The no call on interference on the Carolina 4th down evened out the no call on the endzone pass to Dez.

Otherwise we got the horsecollar - nothing to write home about!

They owed us today when they did not call the helmet to helmet shot Dez took on that one punt return. I have no idea how they missed that, that shot could have killed him.

Enjoy it now because we are not getting jack next week against the G-men.

Mara will make sure of it with a meeting with the refs in the tunnel.......LOL

We are so going to get screwed next week it is not even funny.

For sure. Mike Carey is god awful.

I think Mike Carey is excellent, but there are a couple of guys on his crew who have it out out for us. I'm not a conspiracy guy I've been in officiating. a long time and I can telll you guys have agendas.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Tripplett.

I've seen this guy make some calls that are probably some of the worst calls ever.

And I saw him drill a Browns player in the eye with his flag, ending his career about 10 years ago.
