Quarterbacks are outrageously expensive. Dak’s contract may be the one that makes GMs think twice about committing that much compensation to a QB1. If a team does not have an above average OL and at least an average running back room, it’s not money well spent on the QB.
I disagree. Watson got his deal and it didn’t hurt Love, Dak or Lawrence or Tua. Purdy will get 62 million if he wants it.

Another team that will be looking for a kicker...the Vikes ain't all that. Could be 3 losses in a row?

I would have said the same thing when Dak signed, but now I’m not so sure. I think the next position that will be escalating is QB2s. Sans insurance for your QB1 an injury to him reduces the effectiveness of the entire team, regardless of how many star players you’re paying.

I’ll have to see it to believe it. Especially from the 49ers. What do they say? Let Purdy walk so they can go find another QB? After they had so much trouble finding him who they lucked into? I think these teams say they can play 50-60 million for a quarterback and draft role players around them to succeed. 49ers especially.

Yikes! Colts had a great catch on the sideline and the next pass was picked off by Vikes!

Colts return the interception favor! LOLOL

Nobody else is watching this game???

Purdy is next to sign. I’ll bet he signs for $45 - $50 million AAV. Backup QBs will start getting in the $10 - $15 million range, if they have some significant experience as an NFL starter. And those guys will be coveted. Jimmy G., D. Jones, Wentz, Brissett

45-50? There's no way unless he's taking a pay cut.
