... the results of these games don't actually affect the events of your life, if you don't let them. The responsibility to build a great team is not on you. It's on other people. When your team lays an egg, there's nothing to stop you from doing great things in your life. It's normal to feel bummed out after a season-ending loss. If you need to take some time to lick your wounds, that's perfectly fine. But when you're done, do some things that are good for you and your family. Upgrade your career. Upgrade your physical health if you can. The team could go 17 and 0, and win the Super Bowl, and it wouldn't upgrade your life, other than perhaps in some of your Dallas Cowboys decorations. But a loss doesn't have to downgrade your life either. If you've been meaning to get an exercise program going to get fit, do it. If you've been meaning to learn to play an instrument or to learn another language, do it. These are the things in life that can change when you put effort into them. No amount of lamenting over the bad play of your team will fix them. That's the responsibility of other people.

I know this is only common sense that many of you may already know, but I wanted to say it. There's nothing wrong with reinforcing it, and there may be some fans out there who hadn't thought of this. Rooting for a team is a vicarious experience. It's not your real life.

Anyway, I wanted to wish all the fine people on CZ all the best.

I don't need a counselor, just a real QB1 for this team, at least an investment in one at this point going forward.
I already know what to expect if we don't correct this teams largest flaw.

LOL.......So Dak is Dallas biggest flaw? Man you guys really go off the deep end eh? :lmao::lmao::laugh::laugh:

So what can we expect if we dont ditch Dak? Another 12 win season and 2nd round exit against the best team in football? Oh man, that would be terrible. :muttley:

Then why pay attention at all? Learn to play an instrument or go fishing.

The team won 4 out of 5 games with a practice squad QB including against the Superbowl bound Bengals and the loss came against the Superbowl bound Eagles with their starting QB playing. That illustrates how strong this team was this season - the team did not win 12 games over the season because of Prescott but in spite of Dak Prescott.

For the same reason you might watch a movie or a TV show. There's nothing wrong with a vicarious experience. I'm just saying don't let it take over your life.

They may be SB bound, but they were bad to start the season. Bad example.

Prescott lead the #1 scoring offense in the NFL once he came back. You want to try again?

And the Bucs game did we win that in despite of Daks 300 yards and 5 TD's?

I agree with @Typhus , we need a QB or it's just more of the same. Other than that I've moved on. Got a golf club fitting in a couple of weeks and college b-ball is in full swing.
More of the same? You mean 12 wins, playoffs, #1 scoring offense, that type of thing?

If you can not see this by now brother, then I honestly don't know how to even try and explain it to you.
I will give you credit for being Daks biggest fan in this forum, possibly the entire planet.

Well I think eventually we want to be the best team in football ? That’s the ultimate goal -
Either Dak is the QB or not if/when that happens.
Ultimately the goal is to get and be better each year - win games - win playoffs - then if all things fall just right - a little bit of skill sprinkled with some luck - win the Super Bowl
Right or wrong like Tony Romo before him, Dak hasn’t proven he can lead the team to do that YET- now I am not naive enough to believe Dak is the only thing promising us or preventing the team from accomplishing this but he is an incredibly huge part of the team that touches the ball the most and has by % the largest impact to have an effect on the outcome of a game
Again - coaching - play calling - play execution by every player on this team also directly impacts the outcome but it will always be a qb driven league that position bears the ultimate responsibility
