Lets revisit this thread after we see what Brookings has in the tank.

Awful pickup.

Brooking had enough in the tank last year to make over 100 tackles. In fact, he's made over 100 tackles every year of his career. He's also built to be an ILB in the 3-4, unlike Thomas, so already he has an advantage there. Besides, this is just a FA pickup to add good depth and competition for the ILB spot. We will still target ILB in the draft.

i love the brooking signing...he is a straight up football player.

allthough kitna is older...he is still very mobile, tough as nails and can throw very well.

we killed two birds with one stone on that trade.

got rid of henry and got a good quality backup qb.

I agree..I think our locker room just got a boost today getting Brooking. I think some people want Jerry to go back to his old ways and sign the Haynesworths of this world. Brooking was dirt cheap and hopefully our drafted MLB can contribut there also. Henry was good for nothing IMO
