For Sunday night games I usually watch the first half at home, and second half at work on my phone. I use halftime to drive to work. No way I'm doing that this Sunday night. I'm calling out, and I don't have any sick days left.

Diagnose my state of mind. I won't shell out 300 bucks for Sunday ticket because I think it's a rip-off. But I'll lose 240 dollars to watch one game. It won't be the only one this year either. Penny smart, dollar stupid? Or just stupid.

it would be cheaper to get youtube tv as it is on Sun night so you should get that on nbc from local channels, set it to dvr it,
then watch 2nd half when you get home.

Not the best reference to use in here, since even 40 year olds would have been little kids back then. .so many people were too young to remember that, or weren't even born yet, or don't have VCRs to watch replays of that game.

I watch the 2nd half of Sunday, Monday, and Thursday night games at work because it passes the time. More than half of those games are so bad I probably wouldn't watch them if I was at home. I just don't want to watch a Cowboys game on my phone.

There have been plenty of times I've regretted going to work. Never once have I regretted not going to work.
