Gary Busey absolutely killed. I know most of the people up there have their jokes written for them, but man he was pretty funny tonight.

Something I always wondered...Where does the "Cable Guy" gimmick come from? Was he a cable guy or am I just missing the joke?

I think it's just a gimmick. Just what he thinks a funny redneck cable guy would be like.

Definitely funny and Gary Busey was highly entertaining.

The Cable Guy is a gimmick. If you watch some of his early comedy stuff when he was still going by his real name, he doesn't even really have an accent. It's all shtick.

Oh God! did I just miss the greatest event on earth?

It's a gimmick he used when he was calling in to a radio station in fla and he just ran with it.

Not a huge fan but hes better than he used to be.

I miss the old dean martin celebrity roasts...they were the best.

Dean, Don Rickles, Jonathan Winters and Foster Brooks to name a few.

Lisa Lampenelli had a funny line in that roast... something to the effect of:

"Larry, you've beaten that 'git-er-done' line so hard, it's now dating Chris Brown."

lisa lampanelli is so funny I cant not watch her.

She is absolutely tremendously funny and I cant believe that dude from the bears got in touch with her so he could hook up with her. Even funnier.

It's going to be on a decent rotation, playing at least once a day over the next week.

To me the best thing about them were they were clean.....mostly because they were on network tv but still clean.

Foster Brooks was the man. He kills me.

I do too. Although i like the new ones also. They are vicious, dirty, shocking and nothing is sacred. Sometimes i'm not sure if i should be laughing:eek::

Extremely funny roast...

Most of the jokes about Lisa Lampanelli were hilarious.

Warren Sapp had some good ones but then he started laughing at his own jokes.

Thanks for the info guys. I think he's funny as hell just never knew why he called himself the cable guy :D
