5. Avoided sacks.

8. Avoided turnovers.

9. Moved the chains.

10. Involved other WRs.

Want me to keep going? There's no comparison between the 2 beyond uniform colors.

You can believe what you want, but it doesn't mean you're right. In this case you are 100% wrong.

Agreed. The mere idea of them having the same impact is absurd.

LMAO!!! You're schooling this DrewPie with facts and logic.

:laugh2:

He's on the Romo bandwagon, but he still thinks Drew is an elite NFL quarterback and could do the same job as Romo.

My guess is that he was a hardcore Bledsoe backer ... and just can't admit to himself that his days of his name and "elite" being mentioned in the same sentence are LONG gone.

Wow, if you don't belive the stats, then just watch old game footage.

When Bledsoe drops back he sits there staring down ONE FREAKING RECEIVER until one of the following happens:
A. He gets wide open and makes a great throw
B. He gets pressured to throw it away
C. Gets sacked
D. Throws it to the other team. He was MVP of sevaral opponents this year.

Another thing Bledsoe did was audible out of plays way too often, and even worse audible into a bad plays.

Romo not only has his head on a swivel he drops back and quickly makes a read and either passes or passes on to the next read.

He does not audible out of a lot of plays, he spends more time than Bledsoe pointing out possible blitzes and changing the formation to help block or change routes than Bledsoe ever did.

and now to top it off...Romo will look left and throw right...Bledsoe never did that it equates to chewing bubble gum and walking.

Bledsoe has never been an "elite" QB...

Very good once or twice? Yep.

Good? Yeah another couple seasons.

Average? Several years.

Down right "sucky"? We've got a few of those too.

That's why he'll retire with a passer rating of less than "80".

There are a few plays that Romo has made that have made me say 'Wow'...but for anybody that thinks we'd be worse of with Bledsoe some things to consider about the games Romo's played in:

NYG - This has been beat to death, but When Drew was pulled it was 12-7 game AT HOME. But if Romo's learning curve came at the expense of this loss than it was well worth it.

@ CAR - Clearly not the team everybody thought they were, and was their offensive mistakes that cost them the game. We have owned them, and Bledsoe won their last year too.

@ WAS - Game was lost, but not because of QB play but because of blocked kick fiasco.

@ Arizona - Bledsoe has made a living beating up on bad teams

Indy - Defense kept Manning off the field in the end, Romo held up his end of the bargain though engineering the win.

TB - See Arizona

So again I ask, what has Romo done that Bledsoe couldn't? Take a few less sacks? Pass a few more balls Witten's way?

I don't believe this team has 'Rallied' around the QB change, it was merely a case of taking time to gel as a team and find our groove offensively without Sean Payton.....Romo was in the right place at the right time and his career is going to skyrocket because of it.

I'm confused... I thought you were officially "on the bandwagon."

Your posts indicate otherwise.

I want to go on record and say that I truly believe we'd be in the same spot right now with Bledsoe despite his 'limiatations', in fact maybe even a game better because I think we would have won the giants game on MNF if Bledsoe had stayed in.

I had to stop reading after I saw that, come on are you serious? The team had NO life in it when Drew Statue was the QB, everyone feared they had to be perfect because Bledsoe can't stand pressure....come on dude you can't honestly think the Boys' would have A BETTER record??? NO way NO how, just go back and look at film of the pressure that Romo avoided and you CAN'T TELL me Bledsoe would have avoided the sacks!

Dude you're delusional, Bledsoe did not spread the ball around to ALL the Cowboy weapons! He locked on to Terry Glenn too much which by the way was one of a few reasons why he's NOT the QB in Dallas right now, thank the good Lord!

He's Vinny Testaverde...only not as mobile.

And I don't dislike the guy. He's got a ton of courage.

But uh, he's Vinny Testaverde...

I bet you think Bledsoe would´ve won those Super Bowls with New England if Brady hadn´taken his job after his injury.

Please get a clue.

Testaverde in 2004 played better than Bledsoe in 2006, IMO. Bledsoe's line WAS better, had better receivers, and a better defense.

He has worse pocket presence and worse vision. Accuracy was the same. Decision making slightly better on Bledsoe - but not because he has better vision, because the WR has to be WIDE open before he will throw it.

Tell us the truth, since following Bledsoe from team to team the Star has touched you. It’s okay, you can let go of Bledsoe now. You won’t fall; the light in the sky will guide you home. The Boys will accept you; you’ll learn what a true winner is. As you study our historic past you’ll learn what a true QB is, the scales will be lifted from your eyes.

I don't know how anyone can say that we would be in the same position if Bledsoe were starting....in fact, I don't know of a game that we would have lost except for the Commanders game where there were enough things that went wrong (the dropped TD, etc).

If you go back and look at the losses that we did have, it is pretty apparent that we got "Bledsoed". Look at each game that we lost and then look at the INT's or fumbles in those games.

Romo has shown that he can protect the ball quite well.

In the Giants game he threw 3 INT's and he didn't start that one....he's thrown a total of 5 INT's.

But if you look at the games that he started....ie., practiced the entire week as the #1 QB, he has thrown in INT in ONLY 2 games. 3 of the 5 starts WITHOUT an INT.

He went the entire month of November only throwing 1 INT. with 9 TD's.

Then you can also look at a previous post of mine where I broke down EVERY 3rd down passing play and bolded the plays where it was converted on 3rd & 7 or more. There was a DISTINCT difference between the conversions of Bledsoe and Romo.

Honestly, I think we would have 1 MAYBE 2 losses had Romo started from the beginning.
