This thread is going to be very humorous.

The guy played around talent last year and looked subpar. The guy plays around a bunch of scrubs and looks like a standout. Go figure.

He was better last year than Ayodele has been this year.

Oh really? Ayodele is about to pass his tackles total (as reported by NFL.com) after only 6 games. I'll be sure to itemize your bill to include both this lesson and the previous one.

Wrong Ayodele has been a starter - Fujita was a situational player - don't let those facts trip ya up...

So he's playing great for the Saints. He didn't have a good season previous and is better suited to the 4-3. Shanle- well could you point me to the thread you started when they traded him away saying it would be a big loss?

The JJ argument I don't get. Greg Jones hasn't done much and JJ numbers are nearly the same as Jackson's in seven less games.

I can agree on Delome being a loss but Leftwich isn't. I don't think he will ever be more then a middle of the pack kind of QB.

Blaming Parcells for Carpenter is wrong, nearly every draft board had the Cowboys picking him. It seemed like everybody thought it was a good move, granted his total lack of any contribution is very worrying but he still has time.

The O-line I think you are right about, it seems Parcells has the same approach to it that Jerry had in previous years about QB. Taking gambles would pay off and the risk was worth it, it wasn't.

Brutal is to harsh a word to describe the job he has doen, but you deal in extremes and negatives to hammer your point across, but thats OK, everybody has their own schtick.

poster has a point... never mind the PRO BOWL stuff, focus on the FOOTBALL MOVE when comparing Fujita and Akin... Last year BILL traded (DRAFT PICKS) for Fujita an OLB in the 4-3 in KC and played him as an OLB in his 3-4... less than 6 months later he lets FUJITA walk and signs an OLB in a 4-3 from Jax and plays him inside. Bill said himself in defense of signing Akin "its only a few yards between the two alignments"...

My point... is maybe FUJI would have been a better and/or cheaper and/or consistant option to play inside considering the picks that were lost....

oh the trade for FUJITA cost the BOYS a 4th round pick!!! yeah all that trading around to get S. Green was due to the Fujita expeirment!!!

but this happens all the time with a 65 year old coach!!!

need another example look at QB, OL (every position except LT), and WR!!!

The News we needed was that the Joisey guy was packing his fat clothes and quitting or that Stephen Jones had convinced his old man that it was time to ax Bill Campo.

Playing Romo doesn't erase:
Not getting Drew a real line you know any common football fan knows and knew that for Bledsoe to thrive he needed an ALL PRO OL a Big Time , Pittsburgh type OL...and Parcells went out and signes a guy named Kyle Kosier to replace Larry Allen - Kosier couldnt start for Detroit last season but Parcells handed him $15 mill he also handed a 9 millon dollar bonus to a washed up Marco Rivera - he also drafted Al johnson out of Tennessee who he told everyoine was gonna be a starting Center - he lost his job to Andre Gurode - he picked up Marco Columbo last season - a former 1st rd bust with Chicago - he's been OK , and that would be considered a Good find , however , he gave a chunk of millions to Jason Fabini who has not a played a down this season for us!!!. He also dealt away Rob Pettitti to NO a kid he drafted from Pittsburgh and payed all 16 games last season.
PARCELLS HAS BEEN A BRUTAL GM AND COACH HERE FOR US...HE WAS GIVEN THE WORLD BY JERRY JONES...AND HE'S BURNED THE MONEY! BURNT IT!

On the Defensive side - he let LB'ersScott Fujita and Scott Shanle go to NO and they've been Pro Bowlers for the Saints -Fujita has been as good as the guy in Chicago. In turn he signed LB Akin Ayodele from Jacksonville who has been invisible and was torched by the Giants - he also drafted his old pal Rob Carpenter's kid from OSU - Bobby Carpenter and he's been unable to evern crack the Special Teams on a daily basis... let alone the starting D. Who knows what he'll be -

He also passed on Steven Jackson and Greg Jones to draft Julius Jones - nobody wanted that - Nobody. And nobody understood it.

He took Newman over Leftwich - I love T-New but we needed a QB and still do.
And his biggest blunder - letting Jake Dellhome leave his office.

Parcells is all to blame - not Jerry of Drew or Michael Irvin or TO.

Good luck to Romo - but he's surrounded by slop.
I agree with some of the stuff you said, but I totally disagree with the Julius Jones deal. That was a great move he made with buffalo.Julius Jones is not the problem,it's the offensive line.As far as the Fujita,Shanle deal, neither one of those guys are pro bowlers. The biggest surprise for me is how the defense is playing. What I think is crazy,is everyone wants to blame Zimmer, but people are fools if they think he isn't running the defense the way he is being told too.I can't believe people aren't more mad that he did little to make the offensive line better in the off-season.That is inexcusable. So eventhough I don't agree with everything you said,I do believe the Fat man,as you call him, does need to go.
